If all goes well it's maybe more a needed nail in the coffin of the banking system. ;-)

Not looked at this project before....

Your exchange seems to have volume according to CMC but when I go to the exchange link on your website on my mobile I don't see a place to deposit BTC & traditional order books just a bid/ask spread and a link that takes you to a coinholder page.

Where do I go to deposit, trade etc. Thanks

You will need to download the Wallet/Trading-App. It's available for IOS and Android.

Links can be found on the site: https://www.lykke.com (also in the Ann-Post)

It's pretty much self-explaining but good introduction videos are these from David Siegel:

Web-based-terminal is in development. Lykke won't stay on only on mobile.

Will Lykke provide some type of mechnisim to determine profit/loss for tax purposes? I just noticed that the trading history in the app doesn't provide buy and sell information. It just shows the transaction of colored coins on the BlockExplorer.

That will be improved for sure. If you look into the history: It is complete because everything what happens in your wallet is settled with time stamp on the blockchain -  Fiat included, because also Fiat is represented by colored coins. And let's say somebody buys LKK for BTC it is shown as "x BTC out" and "x LKK in" plus time. Because of the time-stamp it also would be possible to come to prices and profit or loss etc. So it already would be possible to use the history for tax purposes, but of course, that would be some work. I have no doubt that will be done much easier in future.

Lets say people do small trades say 10 solarcoin buys over 1000 orders like the high frequency traders do will this not eat up lykke profits from the Btc tx fees? If you look at for example poloniex there are dozens of small trades every minute just on ltc alone. Maybe off chain settling tx fees would be more feasible?

They've already implemented something like spam-protection because there were some bots using the Api to perform low amount transactions. I only know because it was mentioned on slack while I don't know how it's done for now. But they are working on offchain-settlement - quoting Sergey: "We plan to deploy offchain settlement in April. Limit orders will become available for the clients in this release"

Can I transfer funds from lykke to other exchanges such as coinbase directly?

You can definitely do that via BTC or other crypto supported asset like TIME, SolarCoin and eventually ETH and many other upcoming ones (all ERC20 tokens would be supported soon too I guess, TIME is one of them). There's no method to move fiat funds AFAIK but maybe tempus can chime in here, perhaps in the future implementing a stable token like Tether. Lykke uses colored coins for fast and transparent settlement.

Yes, right. Whatever moves on a blockchain and is supported by both exchanges can be transferred of course. Fiat is represented by colored coins on Lykke, so that is not possible to get outside - only with a bank-transfer but (as far as I know) that is only possible from and to a private bank-account. I don't know if they plan to add Tether but would make sense for sure.

These days is raising the value of LKK regarding fiat, can you see graphs elsewhere besides the android app? I do not see the price scale

edit: only this?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lykke/

Marketcap:
12/abril--> 1.6 mill
15/abril-->  6 mill.
why?

Coinmarketcap has agreed to count as "circulating supply" what is in the trading-wallet. Before that it was only counted what was sold during the ICO (30 million LKK). That's why the marketcap is fluctuating now... it increases if more funds are moved out of cold wallets into trading wallets and the other way around. Not a perfect solution but it's a better reflection of "available on the market".

Another graph is this one:

https://bravenewcoin.com/lykke#Trading-Pairs

They simply count the total supply what reflects the total value of the company although it's not all available on the market of course.
