I want to trade BTC for LKK, but when I input an amount above 9, the Submit-Button is not blue anymore and cannot be selected. What am I doing wrong?

Thank you!

Hi gamer455, you would have to buy at market price since spot/order book are not yet available. Should be implemented along with margin trading by next month.

I have no problem with buying it at market price, but often it is not possible and the Confirm Button is not available. Does not mean that nobody wants to sell LKK?  Thank you Smiley

Somebody else had the same problem today and some others said the App would lag. So, nothing what you would do wrong here. I got message that the Dev-team is investigating and hopefully fixing this soon. Maybe you could already try again, and hopefully it already works?

In the end, everything worked out just fine Smiley Now I am a proud owner of 347 shares

There's a lot to digest and plenty of interesting information for the next upcoming months (apart from the recent price spike explanation and details). There's been a lot of recent activity at the Slack channel with plenty new users getting onboard. Everyone who is part of Lykke should be very glad that Lykke community is getting bigger and more engaged.

What is the inflation rate of Lykke?

There is no real inflation because LKK represent shares - so there is no mining or staking or something like that. Total supply is 1,285,690,000 LKK. But one could say that the supply on the market will increase over time whenever Lykke sells shares. But one also can be assured that they will act transparent and most important: smart - they have no interest to hurt the price and with that the market-value of the company and to send deterrent signals into the market etc.

A very good read is the blogpost I've posted above!

Also this is correlated to the current buy pressure and little liquidity that LKK has been experiencing lately, there's a lot of new demand for shares and some new investors and users feel they deserve to get as much coins as they want at these prices (I know I do and I did many months ago!). And they are right about wanting that of course. But the reality is that there's not enough sellers since most early investors, team and founders won't give up so many LKK/shares at these low prices with so much to come. I'm sure the market will stabilize in the near future, especially after order book and spot trading are implemented.

Yes, good point. There is a difference between a project like Lykke and a Cryptocurrency-project that really needs a wide distribution while a centralization of the asset would be bad. In Lykke it's about ownership and of course: if team-members, company and Investors don't want to sell at these prices while (and because) there is demand, the price goes up because there is a lack of liquidity then.

Personal side-note: I sit in the same boat with those who would like to buy more cheaper, so they have my sympathy. Didn't expect the price to go up so significant and so fast.

It's of course not too late. In my opinion there are just a few projects in this space with such a usecase, team and potential. But I really didn't expect the price to explode like that, at least not now. Good is: It has some marketing-effect. Attention is increasing and ppl start to talk about Lykke. Smiley

I live in the US and want to purchase some LKK. Am I screwed? Every time I try to make a purchase it tells me that LYKKE is not available in the US but they will keep me updated. I really want to get into this on the ground floor.

Unfortunately it's not possible because Lykke is in regulatory processes in the USA. Lykke has a really skilled team in the USA to get that done but it's not possible to give more of an ETA than "hopefully this summer". Once it's done it will still be about early adopting and investing.

Thing is: One goal of Lykke is to be very open, attractive and accessible for everyone and everywhere - no matter if it's about a millionaire-forex-trader who lives in Manhattan or a guy who may not even have a bank-account. The KYC-process also reflects that approach. It's meant to be easy to do and also to be fast, while avoiding the risk that ppl mess with it. The guys behind this project are not naive but smart, and they have to be, because Lykke needs to be safe on the legal side to reach it's high ambitions.

That said: Of course they would have to react on "creative attempts" to make fake accounts. Those who try it would increase the risk not to be able to access and use Lykke in future - fully legal with all what it will offer. And that will still be early. Lykke will still be in a base-building process and there will still be price-potential and LKK also won't be the only attractive asset on the platform. It will be about a lot of other assets, including crowdfundings and tons of different features and services.

My advice really is not to risk future potential out of "temporary Fomo".

Btw, that's my advice in general, because the whole space is in an early stage while having so much potential. It's not smart to put all what will come at risk because of actions that may have legal consequences in future and/or at least burn the own credibility. I often think that whenever I see those very talented guys who execute different scam-strategies. Surprisingly often it works out in short-term, but those who are behind such schemes close a lot of future doors before the real show has even started. In the end that will cost them money and in fact that is already the case for many.
