I doubt it, 98% was too big, and I don't think that it is possible, remember that not all of us has the same age, there are generations older than us that are still alive and have no idea on how to use computer and those people that live in remote areas where technology always comes late, and most probably their percentage in the total population of the earth is much more than 2%...  |

I think otherwise, it is not possible that bitcoin can be use by everyone in 2022. The issue, at that time there are still lots of people who are not familiar with computers and other digital gadget. During that time 2022, Internet is still not available everywhere. One example is my country, one of the slowest connection but the highest priced service, (how i wish some Telcom company barge in our country offering fast and cheap internet so this greedy local company will rot and go bankrupt). |

Bitcoin won't be used by everyone not until our generation gets to be a hundred years old. That means we'd all be dead when that happens and even so people will still prefer to use fiat. Can't take that away from them, its their freedom as well

It will eventually be learnt by everyone but there are certain factors, location being one, which prevents some places to get to know about it. Also various merchants should start accepting Bitcoin as a payment method which can propagate its popularity. There are several popular games which can start accepting Bitcoins to perform in-game purchases. Steam accepting Bitcoin is a great way to popularize the cryptocurrency and its a great start that way. |

This is not possible, there is too many people out there is using other currencies and they will not change it just like that. Bitcoin will have to offer amazing conditions for companies, shops, and to governments will need to approve that.
More I think about this, more obstacles I see. Bitcoin will need more time to be accepted, and to be accepted by everyone need decades.

That is a pretty high percentage. Before everybody can use Bitcoins we need to get everyone connected to the internet and be comfortable with using Computres. For the developed world 98% might be a good guess but not for poor countries. |

It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.
This is possible or impossible no one can say because no one knows but I believe that if this is to be achieved, then the input of government input cannot be overemphasized as this will give legitimacy and a form of stability to the currency because that will go a long way in increasing the trust in the currency then if it is not fully in 2022 then we are on the right track to achieving that... My 2 cents... |

That's true, even after more than year 2022, not all will be using bitcoin.. Not all the people in the world are techy, and not all like making a transaction online and many are afraid to invest to something new.. Older generations will I guess would prefer to use their fiat than converting it to bitcoin.. |

That's true, even after more than year 2022, not all will be using bitcoin.. Not all the people in the world are techy, and not all like making a transaction online and many are afraid to invest to something new.. Older generations will I guess would prefer to use their fiat than converting it to bitcoin.. We don't need the whole world in order to be successful, as long as a good number of people are adopting bitcoins this will prosper and will give benefits for the users and the investors also. |

Lol I do not think it would be that high. The world population reached 3 billion people over while you can see just a little bit bitcoin users in each country. how is it possible within 6 years bitcoin users can rise 100-fold? I think it is impossible. because deployment bitcoin can be fairly slow |

i am not agree with you, i do not think that it will be possible that after 6 or 7 years all the people will be able to use bitcoin are they will be using bitcoin, because for using bitcoin one must have good knowledge or skill of computer and internet, but i can tell you that in my country there are will only 2 percent of people who can be use computer other wise most of the people cannot use internet. in my country the literacy rate is also very low, then how can the old people who are not even education can use bitcoin, i think it needs generations when all the people of the world will be using bitcoin. |

Bitcoin has very low utility, and it's not a suitable replacement for money. If 25% of the world population has any bitcoin at all by 2022 I'd be surprised. As for using it in daily transactions, I'd put that at the slimmest of slim possibilities.

yeah agree. it would be possible if each user make promotion to their friends or relatives. and it happens every single month. you just need to invite one person and so on I'm sure in a few years time bitcoin users already spans the globe. but users are reluctant to promotions bitcoin I am pretty sure that would help even with a little contribution to the bitcoin economy as a whole, we need people awareness about this thing so that they will not be used to conventional ways of sending and receiving their money which is very costly on the part of the sender. |

I think that's too much. the current bitcoin users may not be more than 2% of world population. if the user bitcoin is big enough today. maybe now you can see many traders around you who will accept bitcoin? but the reality is not. bitcoin users still quite a bit and you can see the very rare people who accept bitcoin |
