Why my coins disappeared? I didn't sync my wallet for 3 years. Now it's gone. Is it because of moving to POS? Is it forever lost?

What can I do in order to start mining Novocain? I have checked out Khore NVC Pool, but most of the information i have found is at least a year or two old. Should I put some mining rigs on this network? what is the profitability? There is a calculator on Khore NVC Pool's website, but the numbers seem to be way out too high to me.

Also, can I configure my ASIC LTC Scrypt miner to mine on Novacoin's network?

With all the problems at BTC-E is there any chance NVC can get listed on another widely accepted exchange?  Maybe Bittrex or something that will get more attention.  NVC deserves more interest and attention and if it were listed on a more widely known and used Exchange it would help greatly.

In other words yet another terrible exchange... I think I will just steer clear of NVC if we can't get a reasonable exchange for this coin.  Too bad, I really like this coin.
