Any idea what's the active user base of NVC is like? I'm asking 'cause I run ALTcointip bot and NVC is the only coin that's never been used since very beginning. Even /r/novacoin is dead.

Can't parse this kind of language  But will try to answer - you can easy download nvc client from http://novacoin.org/index.php and sync fast to see blockchain size, for staking you can get any amount of nvc but preferred 100-200 per input. |

I can not find any information about staking with a non gui wallet.
Is that possible with a Linux machine which has no Desktop like Gnome?

I remember I looked up their code on github months ago and if I'm not mistaken it was based on zero coin, not NVC, or am I wrong? |
