Spending Bitcoins

Right now I don't spend much bitcoin, I have spent some in this forum and for services that I need, I think I have spent about 2BTC in two years , but what is stopping me top use bitcoin mere as a currency than as an investment is simply the fact that in my country I cannot pay for anything in bitcoins everything I have bought has been online.

This is the common problem for us, who lives in a place where you can't find any merchant accepted bitcoin payment.
And then, people start to think to save it instead of looking for a way to spend it. But, I think amount of bitcoin they have must be less than BTC100, if you have at least BTC10, you will try to spend it to purchase something or convert into fiat money in case you need cash immediately which there's no any better option left.

Even if you cannot spend them directly you can always convert them to your local currency and apart from that now we also have bitcoin debit card which can be used like other normal cards for shopping either online or at offline places so I don't think there is any issue in spending and if a person is willing to spend his bitcoins then he will definitely discover many ways to spend them.

Anyway, let's not worry that much as it's not a big problem, with our exchanges we can easily cash out our money and use that money to purchase in our desired store, less convenience that way I guess.

Buy electronics is hard to reach for small countries and doesn't support/doesn't even know about Bitcoin but for the digital stuffs like Game Codes, and Pay your bill is easy to do and you can access it anywhere. It just matter of time to see merchant accepts bitcoin.

What wallet and what bank are you using, i have never know a bank to not stall bitcoin transfers before.

Agree that is what i am doing if i need cash because nowadays i put bulk amount in bitcoin due to continuous increasing of its value. And i put trust in bitcoin since i can easily transfer or exchanged it into fiat.

Just made a cash out from our local exchange site/app of $60 yesterday, saved coins from services in a month. Usually, I spend my bitcoins for my mobile recharge and mobile data just to access the internet. I am happy that I can contribute money for our daily expenses.

That process is hardly instant and would only work on "business days"
I can transfer from my exchange to bank for cash but who wants to wait the few days.
I just use a bitcoin debit card to make purchases and take cash out, instant.

Even if you cannot spend them directly you can always convert them to your local currency and apart from that now we also have bitcoin debit card which can be used like other normal cards for shopping either online or at offline places so I don't think there is any issue in spending and if a person is willing to spend his bitcoins then he will definitely discover many ways to spend them.

I have heard of that debit card from my local exchange and it seems to have a lot of good features in it. I'll try to inquire about that and see how I will be able to make use of it. I am not a big spender really, be it by bitcoin or fiat, but from time to time, I like to make certain purchases that might best make use of bitcoin. For now, I just try to hold and wait for another price surge, and maybe convert a few to fiat and still use bitcoin for other forms of small payments.

Some would have said the exact same thing when Litecoin was at $50 per coin, save dont spend. Now look at it, sitting at less than $5 now i think.
Definitely not saying bitcoin will go that way but this is still very new ground we are walking on here and there is always a new coin around the corner waiting to take bitcoins spotlight.

I just don't spend Bitcoins now, when the price is above $1,000 and can go higher and higher. Kinda psychological STOP inside my head. Earlier though I traveled with Bitcoin (it was around $300 then, bad times), and it was ok.

Never spending bitcoin doesn't make any sense as if you hold them too long without spending and if price drops in near future then you will surely regret for not spending or selling them when the price was higher so if price goes above your purchase level then you should not think twice in selling or spending them as you will always get an second chance to buy them when price will go lower in future.

Yeah it's up to people whether they save it or they spend it but the thing is we all save bitcoin for spending in future isn't it?? and one thing more by looking on the current situation and price of bitcoin i also suggest to save bitcoins because that savings will give you good profit in future or in next coming days.

Yeah it's up to us  whether we save it or we spend it but the thing is we save bitcoin for spending in future isn't it?? and by looking on the current situation and price of bitcoin i also suggest to save bitcoins because that savings will give you good profit in future or in next coming days.

Saving them at a moment is the best move to make as we are expecting price rise in next week after ETF is announced so till then its better to hold them as if ETF gets approval then we may see much higher price of bitcoins and I think that would be a good time to sell bitcoins to make some descent profits.
