Dev, what about to list ESP at https://www.coingecko.com/ and a it would be great to have dedicated page to ESPERS on the website, not only as an algorithm, I do not mean to buy a domain, but at least a subdomain like espers.cryptocoderz.com. On the website there is no difference in interest from other coins that you have been working on and your own project, and the swap would be great time to promote and launch a new website. The website has been under a complete rework for sometime now (since before we began work on the swap) so that is planned to launch as soon as it's completed. It may or may not be alongside the new client release but it is coming. Thank you very much for your suggestion, we will also take a look into setting up a subdomain instead of a separate page as well. nice to know that dev so we just have to wait for more updates regarding to this and with the current things that you are doing right now thanks for being a hard working dev. good luck.

what is the yearly pos rate for the coin? also are you going to burn 500B coins and decrease them to 50B? that means the price will go up from 1 satoshi to 10 satoshi?

Just a thought: when CLAM was launched, it used the private keys of other alt-coins such as litecoin and bitcoin so you can "claim" your CLAMs.
In this case, if you know the private keys of your ESP 1 wallet, you could make it so that ESP 2 wallets will already be funded by a specific date. I believe the intent is to "kill" the version 1 wallet, because after some time no one will be using the old wallet, no one will be mining on the old ESP 1.
This way, there would be no need for a "swap". Just before ESP 2 launches, you just make a snapshot of the ESP 1 blockchain so you know exactly how much each address in the ESP 2 blockchain should have. You could give an exact date and time or an exact block number, and people will simply stop using their ESP 1 wallets, import the wallet.dat or the priv keys to the ESP 2 wallet, and all their coins will be there divided by 10.
After that, ESP 1 dies a natural death, all miners go offline, all nodes disconnect or shut down. ESP 2 goes live, and everyone has their espers.
If you intend to do the burn method, that will be more work for you guys, but either way is fine with me.

Except you can't trust exchanges (yobit comes to mind) cause they hold your coins. I agree though, it would make things easy for most of us

This is a nice idea! Will the Dev team be able to consider this one?

Getting private key of your wallet is trivial for you but it can be too much difficult to achieve for the average Joe, who should need help, and some techie guys could steal coins by "helping" them. Sending coins to a burning address solves this trouble, all people on cryptocoin world knows how to send coins.

i just saw u guys are going to reduce the supply of the coin. But why not 500 m or 50 m. 50b still sound really high. At 1 satoshi/coin we are talking of a marketcap of 500 btc or 287.000 usd (if i didnt do the math wrong). Less coins is better for trading imo.

Right but this coin's main purpose is not to be traded. It's about being applied in actual applications. The developers decided that for their purposes, a high coin supply is beneficial. Just a thought: when CLAM was launched, it used the private keys of other alt-coins such as litecoin and bitcoin so you can "claim" your CLAMs.

I too think that this sounds like a nice idea ... I don't know about the technical advantages or disadvantages though. Would it be easy enough to write a small helper application to automate this? But then again you could also just automate the burning procedure, it doesn't really matter which method is automated right?

With the "CLAM"-style, you, as a user don't need to do anything. Just backup your wallet.

That is a very interesting idea! Thank you for suggesting it. We'll have to look into the method a bit more then get back to you on that. Burn Address is just easier and quicker that's why we were planning that. We'll see what happens. Ohh forgot to add. There will be a built in block explorer in the new client

where is it recommended to GUARD your ESP, windows or Yobit? is that what your asking , friend? if SO, I will ALWAYS recommend a user keeps control over ANY of their coins in a local wallet over an exchange for context : http://satoshilabs.com/news/bitcoin-thefts/. MOST thefts happen from an exchange and guess who owns the losses? USERS. BE SAFE, CONTROL YOUR OWN COINS&KEYS.
