No worries we'll PM you another one lol (as since the session expired and that was a one-use link you're now getting the invalid token message), we're refining the system in between everything else so eventually you won't be having little quircks like this.

Status update:

Mining page: Still scheduled to launch this week (meaning tomorrow being Sunday is our last scheduled day to wrap things up, as the quoted comment above this post states we do sometime run into delays and this is simply because we refuse to launch an inferior update and despite being nearly a 10 man team there are many things that have to get done that aren't always explained or posted and this causes what appears to be lack of development).

ANN Updates: the ANN is being updated in just a few minutes to feature the new mining pool, and our business partner/merchant will be now displayed on the ANN ANN Updated

Partner Site update: Catlin Computer Solutions' site is going to be undergoing some updates to make using their services easier including for crypto users.

CryptoCoderz site update: The main CryptoCoderz site is still being rebuilt and we expect to have it done at somepoint this month.

Espers Messaging: To be wrapped up and released after mining feature is done.

Our other chains: you will notice us post in our other project chains as some get swapped out for new chains and other simply get overhauled and upgraded. Don't be alarmed about Espers or it's fate, ESP is currently our main focus as later it will interact with those other chains.

I have some bad eyes going on. So many zeros, plus I get confused sometimes. Plus distractions from DAO's, wallets, etc. But I want to circle back on ESP and ESPERS2. I got in an a good giveaway at BitcoinGarden, especially the first, but go in on second as well. Now I did the exchange 10:1 swap via NovaExchange and I got my wallet set up and staking.
The question I have is I thought I have the same amount in this new wallet as I did the original. How could this be?
I thought I had 30 million ESP and when I look at new wallet it's 30 million ESPERS2. Where is my confusion? I am trying to get a grip on the value of one ESPERS2 in relation to the swap.
I am considering giving some away for giveaway but need to figure this out first.
I'm not the best with math, but how can I test the waters and see it in a different light to fathom the swap? More so, clear up confusion on what I actually have relative to the initial ESP balance I had.
30034026 is my working balance (says ESP) but this is from the new ESPERS2 wallet I downloaded. Call me stupid, but that looks like 30 mil to me, but that's what I thought I started with before the swap. Add in a 10:1 swap, I thought the number would reflect 3 million?  Please let me know where my flawed reasoning is at.

The first giveaway on ESP1 was over 300 Mil. If you did get into that one then you probably had over 300 Mil in ESP1 when converted it would then be 30 Mil ESP2 which sounds about what you are saying you have now. You can look at your transactions in your ESP1 wallet and see what you were deposited on the first giveaway.

yah i followed the instructions on exchanging the esper to esper2 to a T with novaexchange and i just sent from nova exchange to espers2. Great giveaway. I guess i did everything but have no idea how to verify if it got exchanged right other than seeing Espers2 in balance there at novaexchange. wallet now shows it is staking and is enabled. Didnt show staking before.

You had the airdrop 300 millions ESP right? Now you have 30 millions ESP2.

We are going to be working on the mining page for the remainder of today (Sunday). As soon as it's completed we will announce the update and post it. If this rolls into early Monday don't be alarmed as it simply means were tidying things up

In the meantime check out one of our 7 exchanges, our merchant site, or keep staring at those weight % bars in the client while things keep moving forward.
There is also going to be a small graphics update to the client's GUI for those of you not running Daemons and FINALLY we will be looking at integrating a really nice GUI from those selected of the design contest a couple months back.

I believe I am just CPU mining and staking. I don't think I can GUI mine this coin, my PC doesn't have the oomph. What can you say about CPU and GUI? Will those that CPU mine be SOL?

Absolutely not, CPU will still be a viable option, one of the biggest misconceptions is that it won't be.

Given it won't be as effective as GPU mining however if you have at least a dual core and you're mining with a pool you'll do alright and actually pull in some ESP. Just bear in mind that as of this moment the mining page isn't complete so mining still requires manual setup like other projects until then.

I have something to compare as I am stake mining ESPERS2. What is interesting is that I am only seeing 7 connected to the network. I feel fortunate! Best mining I have seen to date with ESPERS and my pos computers.

That means you're connected to the 7 main nodes and aren't connecting to any peers. (Just thought you'd like to know).
Definitely glad your having a good time staking, we hoped that this project would be fund as well as an evolution.

Between the site updates, network setup/management among a few other things that we've been working on for the Espers chain and our partnered business we will most likely be releasing the mining page tomorrow (Monday) instead of tonight (Sunday).

Instructions would be a nice thing wouldn't it? We'll get some documentation done up on that for you today but for now:

Windows/Linux/Mac --> Open port 22448 in your firewall (Incoming and outgoing)
That should get you connecting to clients I personally typically have 16-19 connections at any given time.

advantages really are more connections which means a more secure operation typically of the client as in theory the more connections the stronger the network is.
You could even take it one step further later and become a node which hosts a main connection point for the chain.


We've finally updated our partner's site a fair bit and that will go live in a couple hours. The mining page is back in the crosshairs for today and will be the main subject of focus for the day.
