My wallet stopped connecting to the network a few days ago. No matter what version I try it will not connect. Also, none of the newest versions will run. I get some exception thrown by Windows about some runaway exception error and it shuts down the program. What is going on with Espers?

Hey mate!
I am having the same issue with the latest version, some runtime error when I run the wallet. I have also downloaded the previous 2 versions and I get the same error when I try to run the wallet.
Maybe someone had the same issue in here and could give us a hint about how to fix it, will be much appreciated. Is frustrating since I just bought some coins in novaexchange.com and can't make the wallet work.

If you guys get the same error as this one presented in here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1434700.msg48424538#msg48424538 try to use the bootstrap as @bit010 suggested in his post.

For me this `trick` didn't worked, but you should give it a try.

I don't know if you are using Windows or Mac systems, but for me on Windows 10 the wallet worked after I have deleted the ESP folder located in %appdata% and made a clean install of the wallet (latest release).

P.S. Don't forget to backup the wallet.dat file located in that folder, before performing this task.

Your tip worked. Now I have my wallet up to date and running. Thanks bro!
Any idea how much stake I will get from 11.2M coins if I leave my wallet 24/7 open? I understand that the APR is 25% so I should get around 233K a month, please correct me if I am wrong.

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

Not really ...

GPU far outstrips the hashrate on HMQ1725 and it only takes a few of them to be running to make life very difficult for CPU miners when it comes to diff increases.

It is one of the reasons we have taken our miners (from theFARM at CWI) off ESP.

I have read in the news that Novaexchange is added to ESP markets. But is that the new chain or old chain since Novaexchange warns you that their chain is the old one.
This is the message you get when you try to withdrawal ESP from their exchange: "THIS IS THE OLD ESPERS CHAIN! DO NOT WITHDRAW TO THE NEW CHAIN!"
Anyone can make some light regarding this ?

hi, for the Nova Exchange - Espers issue you are facing, try contacting coinmaster@novaexchange.com, or support@novaexchange.com, and if possible, try to to add screenshots or pictures so we can help better.

They are on the new chain though, wallet version v0.8.7.5-Patch 6 Alpha, block  808951 (same as explorer) Wink

So is novaexchange already running the new ESP block chain?

I understand, thank you! So they are running the good chain as I have read yobit.net is having also ESP but an old blockchain before the swap. Maybe the Espers representatives will contact NOVA and tell them to remove that warning because is making people confused.

To Buy, or not to Sell? That is the question.

Hi MrPlazu,

do you use the latest wallet?

https://espers.io/wallet.php

And use the bootstrap? It make it much easier to sync:
