Dont distract now; just join the bet...
This is not a question of potential prices but an example of rigged otc offers. The sellers around here dont even believe in their own stories. This OTC market is a platform to rip off people who didnt do due diligence before buying; nothing more...

Again, this is the Market. You want something I have, you need to pay the price I value it on, not what you want to pay for it.

That is what a crooked seller would say... im saying; this otc board has nothing to do with free market. it serves a few crooked sellers who joined to try selling overpriced iota...

They don't try, they are selling because there is some buyers out there.

Well no more buyers for you guys...^^

Who wants to bet btc these days...?! Bitcoin is so last year. I'll bet you 500Gis that it is over that value 24 hours after going on poloniex. That way if it's down I lose less and if it's up I win more Wink. Of course, you'd have to buy some iotas to send to escrow; don't ask me to sell you any, you won't like the price I'm charging Wink.

Not being funny, I'm deadly serious... Although I'm an adult and 0.5btc is not worth my time with escrow hassle. I'll take the bet in Gi's, if you really want it you'll take it. I'd rather hold those and settling into those than BTC where possible because they have way more upside in the short term.

I'll go as low as 300 Gi, can't be arsed for any less than that... if all these sellers are going to dump at such low prices post-launch then you should have no problem finding someone to buy from and at a cheap enough price.

But, If you don't want to cover the bet with iotas now then I'll let you put 5 btc per 100Gi into escrow, so min 15btc to cover a 300Gi min bet, then escrow can settle winning amount into Gi for me and refund you any remainder? If IOTA is over 5btc per 100 Gi after 24 hours on Poloniex then I'll just take the the 300 Gi escrow buys for me, keep my iotas and there's no need to make up the difference, I'm a generous guy Wink.

If you feel confident it will be under that price you should take the bet. Some free iotas for you, even better than cheap, free Wink

so you want me to buy iota at your crooked price so i can bet against you? Is this really your final offer? Reference currency is still BTC around here.

All i can say is: Buyers beware

BTW: what did you pay for your 300gi? 0,01 BTC?^^

Eh, no you dont have to buy iota now... did you not read what I wrote? you could risk it and cover with more btc than they cost to settle at the price they are after 24 hours... so by your reckoning you should be able to buy them cheaply and if you win you will be able to. If you lose you will have to buy 300 Gi at market price (or escrow will on your behalf) to settle the bet.

Thought it was pretty clear?

Totally fair bet... 300Gi, you can choose when to pay the iota price, now or 24 hours after going live on polo.

But listen; i will accept your bet. But im not going to put 15 BTC into escrow. Escrow fees might even surpass the earnings i gain from the 300GI.

This is a deal of honour now:

If IOTA is over 5btc per 100 Gi after 24 hours on Poloniex i will send you 15 BTC
If IOTA is under 5btc per 100 Gi after 24 hours on Poloniex you will send me 300GI

Deal?

Your maths is pretty bad isn't it?

more like 0.15 btc, so you're only out by 15x!!!

You should see the ROI crowdsalers got from CFB's last project... ever heard of NXT? Wink.

There is no demand! There is FOMO Fugazzi. Your prices are made up!

Interesting, why they don't ask 100x more... Shouldn't be a problem for made up prices, should it?

wtf? They are doing this. One second they ask 3000% over ico, the next one 10.000%.

BTW. what about my bet:

im betting 0,5 BTC that exchange prices of IOTA will be under 0,5 BTC / 100Gigiota 24 hours after exchange start.

@Sellers: Since your prices are so modest, whats the prob with joining the bet? Just do it...

PMSL, now you're quickly changing your bet by factor of 10 as well. No wonder you're so confused by all of this, you're numerically dyslexic.

Your bet is that it will be under 0.5btc per 100Gi 24 hours after hitting exchanges as above, not 5btc per 100Gi! I would need you to cover by that amount in case it does moon by 10x your silly bet, and I'LL COVER ESCROW FEES.

Deal or not? Asking me to put 15 BTC into escrow to cover for 300Gis (0,15 BTC, thank you for the correction^^)  is out of the question though. Quote a realistic bet or stick with my initial one...

I am sticking with your original one, you are the one who has tried to change it. I only want to be paid in Gi for exactly the bet you describe (over 0.5btc for 100 Gi 24 hours post polo), and I can't be arsed betting peanuts, so 300 Gi or enough BTC to cover that buy 24 hours later. Why worry about the 15btc, if you're right you'll get it all back, there's no way IOTA will mewn too far is there? Even if you're wrong you'll get like 5-10btc back won't you? Unless of course you're very wrong, in which case I'll get all 15btc and still be short changed.

If you don't even have 15btc to cover the risk then what am I doing talking about making a bet with you? Go back to the playground and bet for stickers and gum. If you can't put up enough capital to be worth winning then stop challenging us to accept a bet for pittance.

I'm not selling any iota this year, so the only way you'll get any off me is with a bet on my terms; if that's no interest then just carry on fudding and see where it gets you lol. Markets don't move for silly little fudders, they move for millions of dollars of serious investment, so by all means, fud and warn away (as is your prerogative), I will continue to chuckle at you and poke fun at your stupidity (my idea of fun).

Again you guys are trying to scam me into putting about 10.000$ worth of BTC into escrow, while you cover with about 97,50$ initial investment. What is wrong with you? I know you are scalping others but please leave me out of it. Just stick with my initial bet. BTC is the reserve currency over here.

Well then chuckle all the way, since i will be staying here for some time. Right now it looks like this thread is the main market for iota. Woohoo, a multi million dollar topic....

lol the answer to that is in the quote you added!

"I'm not selling any iota this year".

The point is not what IOTA is worth now (whatever people are willing to pay for it), the point is what they might be worth; the potential upside. This is what fuels investment decisions, not the amount someone else once paid for it. People don't refuse to buy shares in facebook or bitcoin simply because the earliest pool of investors are getting 10,000's%; they buy because they think the price will go up from where it is.

Anyway, you've made it clear you don't have the resources to make a bet interesting or worthwhile, so will set you on ignore now. Good luck with your fud campaign in the face of the first fully-functioning chainless, feeless, microtransaction-ready crypto. I think we'll be up in the top few market caps before the year is out and that's a lot of Xs for the people who did buy at the prices in here, so well done them imo; I still haven't sold one iota, despite following this thread from the start.

No more fuel for your troll-fire from me.  Kiss

Admiral_bit.

Do your self and the IOTA community a favor.

Just leave, find another coin, and buy the ICO. There are a lot of ICO's these days.

I can imagine if you bought the ICO you would be a great supporter, they can use you somewhere else.

But please stop discrasing yourself and poluting this thread. It's really obvious you like IOTA and want a piece for a price what nobody is going to sell.

The overall IQ of the ICO buyers is much higher then you and others in crypto in general. They know what they bought and they dont care selling for a quick profit. They hold until the buyers will pay, what they are asking for it. It's that simple and your trolling and spamming is not going to change that.

Good luck.
