Bitcoin is really a currency indeed, we get paid from services we've done. And at the same time we treat this as investment because we know that we can make money and profit from it. There's a lot of options now where and how we can spend our coins just like through mobile recharge.
You can actually buy literally anything with bitcoin, and that's the best proof of bitcoin as a currency. As for investment, the value of bitcoin either goes up and down just like what stocks are. Still, in my experience for current scenarios, it must be wise to use bitcoin as investment rather than currency.

I am using it as Currency as well as investment , But as currency is priority, it is good to do transaction , while investment is risk one, as  i invested  in some cloud mining site but those turned scam, so many investment is limited  Smiley

Perfect choice is to use it as both. You can use it as a currency to exchange it to cash when the price is high so you can earn some profit and you can use it as a store value (investment) when price is low and hoping to make profit when the price will become high again. At least this is what I do and I am very happy with it.

I use bitcoin for both as currency and investment. I invest my real money into bitcoin and save some bitcoins until the halving come and i use bitcoin for paying some transaction online.

Me either I'm using bitcoin as a currency and investment. As a currency as I can buy prepaid loads online with the use of it and send payments to the people I'm transacting.
And as an investment as I'm holding out few bitcoins in my wallet.

Do you use bitcoin as currency? Or you use bitcoin as investment? Or both?
I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising Grin

So, how about you?

Just both of them. I use my bitcoin as currency and i use bitcoin az investment. But I'm holding my bitcoin when the price of bitcoin is rising. To sell my all Bitcoin. But sometimes i used my bitcoin as a payment via Load. It is very useful for me to buy a load using my bitcoin wallet as my payment.

I'm using it as both based on my personal experience...... THe moment I learned about this type of Cryptocurrency and its positive feedbacks, I immediately find my way on investing to it and at the same time using it as a currency. To be specific I am already using my BTC wallet as my alternative to a traditional Bank. My Btc wallet has the feature to keep both my Country's currency and have the bitcoin both in separate accounts(wallets)....  In what form do I use this as an investment? Probably the same concept of purchasing Gold and keeping and hording it and waiting for the right time that for value to rise to have it traded to the market.

How Am I using this as a currency, hmmp...  I'm working abroad.... I'm sending my remittances thru it, because the cost for the service charge is very reasonable, cheap and cost efficient compared to other method of sending remittances to my country I supposed.

Investment. To be honest, it's barely a currency; thing is that few people actually accept btc. And I mean accept directly. Not buying a giftcard, but the merchant being paid directly in bitcoin. Why is this? Because the merchant's supplier doesn't accept bitcoin to buy more goods with. When product manufacturers start accepting bitcoin, I will deem bitcoin a currency. Until then, it's an investment, a value store if you will.

Let's face it. The main thing to do with your bitcoin is to invest it. If you want to spend it you find far to less shops accept it. Paying bills or sending to friends is hard
since neither of those accept it.

Using Bitcoin for remittances is good option, the fees are much lower than western union or international bank wire transfers. To spend the Bitcoin, you can use debit card, few services already provide this method, you just have to deposit Bitcoin and your ready to spend it whenever credit/debit cards are accepted.

The only problem might be the Bitcoin price is sometimes very volitale, so you could spend the Bitcoin as soon as you received the remittance if your worry about lower Bitcoin price possibility.

Bitcoin is a currency with having some character, and personality. The usefulness is can be changed at any time the owners need bitcoin became an everything they needed and relied on the situation. too pointless choosing bitcoin one direction like investment or currency and another, because bitcoin has it all on themselves.

at this point I very rarely see bitcoin as a currency, I always see bitcoin as an investment tool. but I know that is the currency bitcoin, but I just look to the side that can make me more profit  Smiley
bitcoin is a really great investment option in my opinion, i actually think that it might be the best investment thing in a whole world that allows you to earn money over time

to be honest i use bitcoin as both, investment option and the currency because i honestly believe that bitcoin is going to grow and it is really easy to use in my opinion

Only time will tell whether or not Bitcoin becomes the investment of the decade for people. Those that were early enough to buy themselves loads of coins in 2010 to early 2013, and sold at the ATH in 2013, have already experienced the best investment of the decade. I hope we get that chance as well.

I use bitcoin as currency and i never sell my bitcoin, but i prefer to use bitcoin when price is rising Grin

So, how about you?

I partially use my bitcoin as currency because half of it is converted into cash since I really need the money to supplement my daily income. A percentage of bitcoins is invested in mining farm since half of it was lost with hashocean was gone. RIght now i just hoard big percentge of my earnings into my wallet just hoping a future increase on the price will happen as soon as possible.

I use bitcoin for currency rather than investment . Since investment right now , seems tricky and scam.
But better investment is hold your bitcoin or trading on altcoin , that can give you such amount

Hi, I use bitcoin for currency and at the same time I use it for investment.  Everyday I make sure that I always have bitcoins in my bitcoin wallet so everytime I want to make a purchase or I want to gamble, it is readily available. But there are also days where I use bitcoins as an investment specially when the price of bitcoins went high to the point that my bitcoins has almost tripled its value.

Honestly no need for another ATH to experience the same feelings of those earlycomers.

People that earning great thru using bitcoin as an investment is enough for people to state that this is really a great investment.
