Lots of poker rooms struggle with getting players in general and Sportsbet is no exception. There are few players and the software needs some improvements to attract more players. I think the main focus for Sportsbet was on the Sportsbook in the past, but you can see they are slowly but surely putting more focus on poker too. But poker is a hard business nowadays and the boom is over. We witnessed some mini-boom again in the last months for obvious reasons and Sportsbet is trying to ride the wave, which is very nice for us Poker-interested gamblers. But the software needs to bet more convenient and a bit more fancy imo and unless that happens, I don't think it's worth to put up loads of tournaments. And even then, you have this Goliath of a poker room called PokerStars and everyone else is only David.

We have to remember that poker is a pvp game in the first place and to find enough players to provide enough space for tables all around the clock means a lot of people in many timezones. Covid brought poker into the spotlight (without sports) and I think SB will always focus on sports but we have to be patient for more improvements to non-sports offerings.

We have to remember that poker is a pvp game in the first place and to find enough players to provide enough space for tables all around the clock means a lot of people in many timezones. Covid brought poker into the spotlight (without sports) and I think SB will always focus on sports but we have to be patient for more improvements to non-sports offerings.

it depends what their goals are for poker traffic. doing poker right doesn't mean it has to be their main focus.

i dunno what the ideal lobby design is without more insight into the industry, but i can say from experience with other sports betting sites that the poker room is usually more prominently displayed. IMO the most attractive UI is a standalone client with 3 primary sections---one for sports betting, one for table games, and one for poker.

Their lobby design is great, the problem is on the left side of the website there is this list of games type of thing, like "poker, football, basketball" or whatever, it is a list basically, and when you click on poker that list is still there, so the two options is half of the website size poker gaming or full screen of all your computers monitor type of screen, I just wanted option of full size on browser option.

Plus they could make some money from the poker side, after all there is literally no risk for them, its only rake and people lose to each other, which means it requires zero input of bankroll from the casino itself, but they are still sportsbet.io, so I would assume their main focus will always be sportsbet and if they have anything lacking on poker side we could give it a pass.

Finished at 44th place been greedy to call an all-in with AQ of club and been busted by 99. The flop comes with 63 of clubs and a 2 I guess I can't remember exactly then here comes the turn with no luck as well as the river. Having a decent amount of 49k chips then with just one deal it's gone haha. Anyways, I just seen few known members there from bitcointalk and crazy even at the very beginning too many deal of all-ins. Good luck with the remaining players like Betwrong and Steve I think I've seen Janprix there but very low chip on hand.

what a ride tonight.. alot of luck + getting called all in whenever i had aces..winning couple of crucial hands when i needed the most...finished 4th.. well during the later stages its all in or fold more or less for the most of the players..lost two last allins on the river but i was underdog preflop so cant complain since i got rly lucky couple of times for sure

I got the same impression, a few of those suspicious accounts exited just before the final two tables.

By the way, congrats to you for getting to the 4th place (well-deserved) and to Betwrong who ended up 10th i think.

I finished 7th but i could have done a lot better, possibly top 3, if the guy next to me didn't pull a flush in a preflop all-in action against my pocket Aces, that would've been over 500k chips and it was sorta early in the final stage, eehh maybe next time...

For the multiaccount i dont know man how i can help. Yesterday in the DM tournament was two guys in the finals tables who are clearly multiaccount.
One made a bet you call the other(multiaccount) raise you call the previous one raise again and after you fold automatically one of two accounts fold whit no sense. And i see this operation in the DM tournament for this two multiaccounts 5 times. Also Ajvar89 was sitting in one of the tables and they made this to him i speak in the chat of the table but nobody response. But was clearly a multiaccount operation.

There's no way unless you made another account and leave behind the other one, not sure if you can ask for it on the support. I've logged in to my account and click my profile then go to general information and the username can't be edited.

Regarding multi-accounters can't clearly comprehend who they are when you are playing but hoping the system detects it.

Man i saw that ..u were 6 to 1 favorite preflop..and he shoved all in during the hand for hand play i think..i was happy too see your aces against his A10 preflop since that meant i ll be top 12..i thought he had much stronger hand than A10...

Me for sure finsihed better then excepted ..squezed to the final table ..shoved with the aces in the early postion in the first hand of the final table ..got called by two 9s.. beaten tarek who had pocket kings against my AK..practically i won all "all ins " in do or die situations ..lost 2 last allins but wasnt mad since it was about time that tables turn against me : D...
About the multi accounts guys there was one  account that was named after me im those buy in 20mbtc Tours couple of months ago..they were playing that tour couple of times per week during the winter..
minimal player required was 13 ..so 13 of em would join in during last half hour or last 10 mins of registration..usualy on sundays and mondays..so i guess they were cooperating with teamspeaker or simmilar software..then they dissapeared and havent seen any suspicious activity until the "what Bitcoin did" tour was announced in the poker lobby ..
One of the suspicious accounts is named Ivan menezes and thats American bussines-man that has Indian origins..most od the other accounts all got some sort of generic english nicks..i think there is around 20 of em....
Me and other random guy managed to be top 2 on midnight tour last night against 6-7 of em haha..so its quite possible they got seperate ip adresses and they arent breaching any techincal rules..
and there was other group of multis on my table during the early stages od the tour since i witnessed couple of simmilar ridicoulus plays on my table with guys shoving after the flop with nothing couple of times im short time span..
Only good thing about those guys they are weak poker players so they loose their big chip stacks they got at start sooner or later to somebody regular..

I registered like 20 days ago and did some bets. Then, one day I tried to bet and got an error 'Insufficient funds'. I contacted chat, they told me to email your security team, ID and address verification, and several days ago, boom - 'Please note that your account was disabled due to being flagged for multi accounting by our security systems.'. A friend referred me to your site, so I thought, maybe this is it, they are somehow linking our accounts. And now I get a reply - your account is linked to 4 other accounts. None of those four accounts is familiar to me.

Meanwhile, I looked online and found that I am not the only one. It is basically an auto replies sportsbet.io sends - first blocked account, then KYC verification, then accusation of multiple accounts, then email which exactly are those accounts, and finally they close your account. Ironically, as a 'courtesy', they give you your initial deposit back, but not any eventual winnings. No matter your replies, at least from my experience and from what I read in forums so far. Luckily for me, on a net basis I have been losing so far.

Okay, I could understand your rule against multiple accounts. You need to track for that. However, I don't know what is your system of tracking, but it got me wrong. I already sent a number of documents, and I can provide any other document, if required – id, bank accounts and extracts, address verifications, whatever. I asked to make a video chat with me, if you want. I don’t know what is your communication with the other accounts, but if you have collected the same documents from them, that you did from me, you will be aware that I am truthful. But having made my research, now I expect the email that my account is closed and my deposit is returned. So I am writing here, as a last resort of hope. My user is bonooo96.

I feel treated like a criminal, I can't dispose with the cash in my accounts, and you banned me from betting. It has been more than a week of worries now(partially my fault, as initially I submitted an address verification older than 3 months). I don't call this fair. Try to look at it from my perspective and you will see that the email support is not responsive, nor helpful. I don't know whom to contact for receiving adequate support, and not robotic answers. I am here because I thought it is fun betting with you, not to deal with your support for ages (it is usually a day before I get every reply). Even if everything goes smoothly from here on, which I highly doubt, it's not ok anymore.

Yesterday I was playing together with my beautiful wife, and overall we enjoyed the game very much.

One day, around a week ago or so, I spotted the familiar name on a jar in my local food store.
