As it looks like if there is a breach of the information stuff, they are already contacting and getting the bottom of it and they will fix it for sure. Plus it looks like its regarding mails and it looks like a trouble for the mail provider (like chipmail or whatever) that is why I think it is not 100% their fault, it is probably mail providers problem.

So, I think it is quite important to know where the problem arrived from, but as long as Steve said tech guys are looking into it, there is no problem. Remember this is the same place that paid 6 million for the sponsorship, that is always something you should consider, because it shows how HUGE sportsbet is, they are GIGANTIC in crypto space, so there is absolutely nothing they can't handle if given the chance and would never mean any harm.

I am looking forward to seeing what they come back with as I would love to go back and play there again. Maybe they'll re-launch with a phat prize tournament. I had pretty much given up on playing there until now but will be looking forward to seeing their launch.

not an acquisition---more like a licensing arrangement where sportsbet.io pays for the rights to provide poker software, and possibly for access to additional player liquidity through a network.

that's what they were already doing with coinpoker's software, paying to license it. hopefully they'll find someone better now.

@rdbase, yeah I took it at 9.16 with my boosted price (it was 8.6) but I'm sure live betting would have bumped the odds up even higher before the goal. Just that to me it's really hard to predict how either team plays to rely on live betting. I do take livebets especially if I get the mood of the players but well, football does have a tendency to surprise even against the run of play!

To be honest I did not play many tourney in Poker with Steve unfortunately.
Not loading in my computer, then after few weeks I discovered that I can use my phone which loads the app, then holidays, then some internet problem etc. All together I think I managed to play only 4/5 tourney. In one tourney I finished at 18th if I am not wrong. Not underestimating your achievements by the way. Just sharing that I was not able to play most of the tourney for several reasons.

Hopefully they'll find it fast. I don't know why it is like this with poker, but that's a fact that it's very hard to get the audience, and it's very easy to lose it. I know a site where thousands played online simultaneously 3-4 years ago. Then they suddenly discontinued poker on their site, and then decided to renew it several months later. ... Months have passed since then, but even with a couple of daily free rolls with 1 mBTC prize pool, and several GTD tournaments, they are still getting not more than a few dozen participants.

Big game for our favorite Watford guys tonight. This seems like a last station on avoid relegation train for hornets. They are playing at home against worst team in Premier League and they have to deliver tonight. I really believe the time has come for one good Watford presentation and big win, playing them for high stake and keeping fingers crossed they make a nice step to securing PL next season and bringing me some money as well

The reason why poker is not really as big of a game in the crypto world as the other games is the fact that other games are not really that common with the online world as much as crypto became. For example, dice, plinko, baccarat, slots, video poker, and all other "versus house" games were surely out there, but not as common as poker and sportsbook, because for some reason online companies that dealt with poker and sportsbook made a ton more money and a ton more advertisement (not meaning others didn't existed, just smaller).

So, when crypto gambling became something, it took in a ton of people who wanted to play these games in a "provably fair" fashion which actually changed a lot of things, poker didn't though, because it is not provably fair even in crypto. So, people kept going to pokerstars and places like that.

^ You mean online Poker is not provably fair? Nope, all forms of online gambling must have provably fair not only for dice, lotteries, or roulette.
This is the mechanism that allows players to confirm the fairness of the game that probably poker site uses a bot as your opponent, not the real user.
I saw there was a tournament of poker here that participated by trusted member, they will conclude on checking fairness in which casino they held the tournament. Nevertheless, poker game is one of the most game that I like because you did not rely upon your luck but sometimes your skills.

none of the big poker rooms are "provably fair" in the usual sense. it doesn't matter---as long as players can export hand history, you can be sure many are importing all their hands into pokertracker or holdem manager. after millions and billions of hands are dealt, statistical anomalies would no doubt appear if the hands weren't fair/random.

that was one of the things that annoyed me about coinpoker. you couldn't access hand history, which is a big no-no for a poker software provider.

What the heck are you trying to say bro? The market for online poker has been dominated by pokerstars ever since they established back in 2001. The first bitcoin block was in 2009 and I have no clue what was the first poker site that accepts bitcoin back then. So it is without a doubt, pokerstars will always be the first thing people go to when they want some online poker

Also, poker game doesnt need to be provably fair. We are not playing against the house and the house got profit from raking the cash game. They provide the table and they get some portion of the total chip when players gamble

Also in guaranteed amount tournament, it usually has minimum requirement of people to start the tournament. Of course they have made the calculation that ensure them to tournament will run with tiny margin profit for the house or even if it doesnt, they wont really gives out alot

A very important win for Watford to be honest, and I was expecting it, although I didn't place any bet on the match. A win at home against Newcastle in 4 days time would be vital as well. Watford are surely going to get this done

I believe it was (and is still) a do or die situation for Watford and they've done it. They played well.

BTW, I'm rather betting on some interesting T10 cricket leagues from Europe, Czech and Australia. They had been the easiest bets TBH and win ratio had been much higher compared to soccer nowadays because sometimes no team wins in it and we lose due to draw. I just don't like hedging my bets with an additional bet called Draw or just a combined one.
