Lol they ruined both of my bets and superbru promo. The whole tournament is a madness. I didn't watch the Japan v Costa Rica game but I still bet on Japan which I thought it would be an easy win to them. But well..

Logically, Spain that beat Costa Rica could win easily against Germany that even lost to Japan. But yeah, there might be another surprise.

costa rica didn't let me down, they won by a narrow score and was very dramatic;D even though japan put a lot of pressure on costa rica, but costa rica seemed to be playing carefully and it was good luck for costa rica when fuller scored a goal in 80+ minutes. I'm sure Germany learned a lot from their first defeat against Japan, my bet on this match is a draw.

Statistics turned out to be tough for Belgium, early in the match it looked like Belgium might win the match but after the second half the result turned completely upside down.  Morocco defeated Belgium 2-0 in the match.

In the other group game, Canada took the lead against Croatia after A Davies scored within two minutes of the game.

It was expected for Croatia to win, and the end result was exactly that. However, Morocco game was certainly not expected at all. Asian and African teams are keep getting upsets after upsets over bigger teams, and that's looking like a good trend because it's important to see how well all other continents became. This is true for NBA as well, people knew that USA was the best nation in the world with the greatest basketball talent, and for up until last 15 years or so that was true with exception of a few European talent.

These days we are getting non-American players as MVP's and not just one or two here and there, I mean literally the best player in the world for a few years has been European. Same for Football, Europe was where it all started so they were the best for a long time, and Latin America played it a lot, but these days all others are catching up to it as well, maybe one day the best player in the world will be neither European nor Latin American at all, maybe it will be someone from Africa or Asia.

I'm on Spain side on this game and I also think Spain might score 4 goals  Germany has showed a poor football in their first game and I don't see that changing in this game especially against Spain when we all know this two teams are nothing but friends when they play meet each other. If Germany somehow manages to win this game , this group is most likely the hardest one to predict for outcome...

I also thought that before the game started it looked like Spain could win 3 - 1 against Germany but we saw the final result was 1 - 1 and Germany apparently didn't want to go home too soon in the world cup if they lost to Spain, Germany got 1 point after holding Spain's draw

I guess the favourites are still the favourites, they look good and should be ending with a win, none of that changed in my mind, still 4 teams as leading candidates.

So long as the odds are showing the favorites and we got a history of surprising underdog wins or draws then its worth a bet on that basis.   Maybe cash out early or gamble on that possibility to hedge mid game strength that was not expected to occur.

Interestingly there are some friendlies, and even some far off land league games (usually not the top division) games still going on. I have seen plenty of friendlies from clubs, and some of them do not even have their players on world cup because they were not good enough, so its literally their starting squad, and they are doing it to keep fresh when the world cup is over and they get their leagues back, which is a good way to gamble. Its friendly so you know its not going to be that much of a serious thing and upsets could very well happen, but usually don't. I suggest everyone to check any soccer matches they can find that is not world cup, its rare, its barely there, but you might find some and it could be very fun to wager on them too.
