What a lucky win from City , right ? I mean , the game itself was not so entertaining but it was expected from Arsenal to slow down a bit and even with some reserves on their squad , they were so close to score in 1st half. Then , second half came and City knew they had to push the game in their favor and that is exactly what they did.

Now , Arsenal can fully focus on EPL and that is the most important achievement that Arsenal is currently chasing so facing elimination from FA Cup is not that dramatic for them.

Definitely a lucky game for them, and by the looks of it they managed to take FA cup out of equation for Arsenal, not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing. It's good because at least City has a chance to win and Arsenal doesn't anymore, that is good for City, would be bad if they lost.

However, this also means that Arsenal now has only 2 things they will fight for, just the league and europa, and europa is great but they would pick a league title over europa for sure. It means that this loss could be considered a bit of a good thing for Arsenal, it puts all of their power into lesser things, and they will end up working a lot harder on the league because of this and get less tired.

Soton had a very well deserved victory yesterday and not only the players needed that , but the fans also! Second half was kinda shaky as we could have witness more goals than only two but somehow , both goalkeepers had more than a decent day but 2-1 it's fair score.

Today FA Cup continues but only with 3 games.

Brighton vs Liverpool should be the head of the table for today and to be honest , I don't know what to expect from Liverpool this year. Theoretically , they should win over Brighton but odds are telling a different story so far.

I can't believe they are still in last place in Premier League, but competition for relegation is better than ever with Everton, West Ham, Leeds, Leicester, etc.
They need to start winning matches and points, and I am expecting to see very interesting rest of the season.

Did not watch the game, but I have seen his goal and it was a beauty. He also scored a great goal in their last game so I am thinking Mitoma will soon find himself as a target for top clubs.

Dude, selfishly I just want the season to end (LFC wise). I’m really dreading the CL last 16 tie with Real, we are going to get absolutely schooled. Injuries haven’t helped, we miss Luis Diaz desperately, Jota is a miss too, plus VVD.

Midfield is the main problem though, realistically we need 2-3 top class midfielders before we can think of competing next season. New owners would be a blessing because I can’t see FSG backing Klopp enough. The club is supposedly up for sale. Bring me that oil money!

Yeah, Brighton is just another level of smooth team, especially when they play against the top tier teams. I actually enjoy the matches where Brighton plays the so-called top teams

It's quite sad they have lost a number of good players in the recent transfers, including their former coach to Chelsea, but that has not stopped them from being good. This says a thing or two about management or scouting teams. They are damn good at their jobs.

When you played this many games and still at the bottom of the table, that's not just pure bad luck, that's actually being pretty bad this year. Unfortunately there are too many people who have played worse than they were expected to play namely teams like Liverpool and Chelsea. Those teams were considered top 5 teams and still ended up at around 10th place, which means when a team like Southampton which were seen as 10th, becomes bottom of the table when they play that badly.

I believe they will relegate, but they have a good squad and if they can keep the core together, I believe they will come back quickly, just like how Watford did recently where they dropped and came back, the tough part will be staying though.
