I got two free bets from Sportsbet sponsored competitions and the Australian Open and made my wagers last night.

For the first one, I went with an Edmonton Oilers win over the Seattle Kraken. The Oilers could finish on the 2nd or perhaps 1st position in the Western Conference and they have the quality for it. Seattle on the other hand won't reach the playoff spots I think. This match already finished with a 4:2 Edmonton win.

For my second bet I predicted an away win for Leipzig on Wednesday in the UEFA Champions League against Sturm. Both teams have been pretty disappointing through the CL season. I am not surprised by Sturm but I thought Leipzig would have more points. They only won their first match last round. A German top-of-the-table team should have no difficulties against a team from Austria, even away from home. They will be missing some players but I still think they can win.

I made this parlay with the free bets I won. I mean the free bets were equal to a sum around $45 and the possible winnings was going to be around $1380...

However thanks to Juventus' incapable finishing I missed a huge chance to win a great amount of money. Sad

It was so close even after Atalanta got that draw.

That ticket contains the type of bets that I find most exciting. I wouldn't risk placing a bet on Atalanta winning or drawing, especially when odds are as high as 2 and Barcelona's last performance against Real Madrid was so great but you risked it well and it was a good bet on your ticket. 1x2 is one of my favourite type because I'm always scared of placing a bet on a draw. Juventus Turin - SL Benfica, both teams to score was a very nice pick because according to statistics, Juventus has scored in 90% of his recent matches.
Also, in their Head 2 Head matches, Juventus scored almost every time against Benfica.

It was really a very nice ticket but don't feel disappointed. I was very active in sports betting and I've collected many similar tickets but I've also got some amazing wins, once I even made a bet with 1500 odd and I won it.

Should be a pretty straightforward 3 points for Toon army today, even if Fulham were the favourites in the last game (hey it was Man United). I'm staying sobre this weekend. One does wonder if Newcastle were actually saving gas in the tank for Gooners... they have one leg in, but need to ensure they don't capitulate in the reverse fixture. We, on the other hand, have to win and Spurs are like a monkey wrench waiting for good machine to walk past.

Liverpool already finished 23 matches in Premier League, and they are counting down last 15 matches in the league, to lift the trophy. With Liverpool now, they no longer need to have big and impressive win, they only need to maximize points they can earn, even just through minimal wins. Took a major risk with Arsenal winning Newcastle away from home. I expect a tough game but with the deficit we have, Arsenal have to win on the night to have any chance of qualifying.

Stirs the neurons, doesn't it? 90 days of consecutive wagering so it appears easier to do (I believe it used to be 150 days?). Hasn't started yet but I've opted in, the wagering amount won't be as hard to do as the "remember to login and bet" bit but that shared prize pool doesn't look too bad.
