I was hoping this one will positively impact the state of affairs in bitshares camp but that didint happen. The fundamentals seem to be promising and openledger steadily gains traction but prices go south no matter what. Its unclear to me whats the point in killing the value of bitshares while sustaining affiliated projects.

A bitcoin address is given to you.

Send your bitcoins to that address.

All done!

Make sure you send your bitcoins from your own wallet where you control your private keys.

Then we were raising $500k and was finished inside of almost 6 weeks.

Now we are raising $5m and we have until May 14th to get there.

Things are looking good from where we are sitting and on par with last year.. which was successful... there is indeed more news coming.

Then we were raising $500k and was finished inside of almost 6 weeks.

Now we are raising $5m and we have until May 14th to get there.

Things are looking good from where we are sitting and on par with last year.. which was successful... there is indeed more news coming.

Im spending way too much btc on this, its a no brainer. Hoping it will get out of tier 1 soon so I cut it out I only noticed this projet when I opened a openledger account and price was already $14 for the pre sale tokens by then so im just thrilled I wasnt too late overall. This project seems to fly under the radar but it has huge potential

Once it goes live and punters start catching on it will spread like wildfire...by then it will be too late to get on

Happily I got some Peerplays by just holding Bitshares in my wallet. Looking around the similar projects Peerplays looks the most solid to me. Waiting for the next round of distribution because this project was in TOP20 on the coinmarketcap some time before.

You are speaking in past tense so I will address that.

Had we gotten included in the exchanges, at the time of our snapshot anyone who had their Peerplays on any of those exchanges would have lost them. History has proven time and again that when it came to sharedrops and the like exchanges are unreliable vehicles.

Our first priority is to protecting peerplays holders, and so by offering a blockchain token on the best decentralized exchange available, it provided the best of both worlds. Despite not being at any of those exchanges, Peerplays still did very respectable volume for what little was available for trade in the market. Not only due to the very low supply, but due to most wanting to hold and not sell Peerplays.

The Peerplays blockchain launches May 30th 2017, and there is no indication that exchanges will not seek out adding Peerplays official blockchain token to their exchanges for trade.

Hope this helps clarify why the idea of having the previously traded token on other exchanges was not conducive to the security of Peerplays holders.

Also hope this further clarifies that the future is not equal to the past, and there is nothing stopping exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex from trading Peerplays in the future.

We had to halt the market to take the snapshot for the blockchain. Peerplays are now a capture in blockchain time of all the first holders. You can see we made this announcement two weeks prior to the shutdown last year in order to allow everyone to buy/sell if they wished too:

You are correct that while we were trading coinmarketcap showed us in the Top 20 most of the time, but by the time we got to closing the market we were in the Top 10.

Any asset that stops having volume gets removed from coinmarketcap front page. Thus why you don't see Peerplays there anymore.

After the blockchain launches May 30th, 2017 trading will resume and you will see us there once again.
