It has gone over the timeline that was first expressed.  But the transparency is there and the devs are very communicable.  I'm still excited to see what they can do...and of course it was Hold'em!!!

So I'm hoping someone can guide me in the right direction here. I was just introduced to Peerplays by my brother who is pretty active on Steemit.com. I spent some time reading about the application and have to say this is really exciting to me. What my question is and that I'm hoping someone can help me answer is on the homepage of Peerplays.com it has the "become your own bookie" verbiage. If I wanted to start taking sports bets from my friends in real life and use Peerplays as a means to do this how would I go about doing this? Is there a need for high volume transactions? For example if I had 5 friends who wanted to bet the World Series game 7 tonight but all 5 players wanted to take the Cubs do I need to set my own lines and find 5 people to take the Indians or does it build off of other online bookies to cover the spread?

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to whoever puts some time into answering this.

Your guess is as good as anyone's at this point.  The platform, nor the dapps shown on the peerplays website are live yet, so we'll have to wait and see how it will all work.

Guess that depends on your confidence in the dev team and their ability to deliver the dapps and bring users to the platform. Don't forget about the peerplays auction either


EDIT: Speaking of the auction.....when can we expect it to begin? I know the initial time-frame was one month prior to launch of the PP blockchain. So.....I guess the real question is when can we expect to see the PP blockchain launch?

I did and thought it was just me.  I have since resolved the problem.  I changed OS's though and thought the issue was centered on that...

The wallet is on Graphene as is the exchange.  The Peerplays network is still in testnet.

Jonathon Bahai of Peerplays. Last week, they announced their new Peerplays website where anyone can join to see the latest updates on the Peerplays project. This week Jonathon is happy to announce that new additions have been made since the launch of the new site. He urges everyone to visit the site and see the new impovements and additions.

He also brings the following updates:

    Peerplays vs eth markets now open on bitshares dex
    Michael is unable to attend hangouts because he is traveling the world! He is currently working with partners in Hongkong and solidify some of the partnerships in the Eastern markets.
    They are preparing for next round of ICO
    There are No updates on testnet this week because many elements of game are ready to be pushed out, but not yet all of them. If testnet was updated this week, people would know the game but would be unable to play it. Maybe next week or the week after!
    Peerplays currently has another group of devs working on the wallet for trading within the peerplays network. Look for more updates on this in the coming weeks.

sorry, i don't understand what you did to solve this problem. i have tried to reset my password, but i didn't receive the email to reset it. if i am trying to register a new account with my "old" mail it is impossible, because this "old" mail address already  exists. should i use another new mail address to open an new account?

Well I have dumped all mine over the last 2 months. I figured that basically it will go down to around 6-7 Euros for the next batch of the crowdsale. IF/ When it does I will double up
Either way I will buy back in. This is a great project
