FYI,many country started to make a law that using Cryptocurrency is illegal

Really? Which countries have enacted laws that make using cryptocurrencies illegal?

I recently bought Syscoin. How did I understand the normal coin. Who can say on it? What are the prospects and development plans?

Thanks. So rather than 'many countries', a small set of (mostly) relatively insignificant countries. Apologies in advance to any offended citizens therein.

From the CIA fact book (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2215rank.html), cryptocurrencies as a whole already have a larger amount of 'broad money' than
#122   AFGHANISTAN   $6,945,000,000
#94           BOLIVIA   $17,770,000,000
#72           ECUADOR   $43,250,000,000
#124   MACEDONIA   $6,308,000,000
#167   KYRGYZSTAN   $1,333,000,000

And has been nearly as much as
#53   BANGLADESH   $121,500,000,000 (Bangladesh? Really? I never would have guessed)

Though we have a ways to go before we swamp
#23   SAUDI ARABIA   $513,300,000,000

Given now's listing on coinmarketcap.com of 95.877B USD.

The more corrupt the state the more likely to ban or have a tight policy against crypto. I consider a good process to weed out the corrupt states, there is a high statistical correlation between the 2 variables.

Personally, I wouldn't trust a single statistic coming out of the CIA or any other governmental agency - but it's an interesting topic.

That's it. They are afraid of transaction transparency. In countries mentioned in posts above, they love to control everything. But they don't know about dark market and other possibilities.. Sorry to citizens of this countries, but it is just matter of time and they will have to accept development of technology.

Did you know?

Officially announced at Consensus 2017 in New York City, Blockchain Foundry Inc (The company behind Syscoin) joined the DIF(Decentralized Identify Foundation), along with several other companies.

Together, we will actively work at building a decentralized identity ecosystem for people, organizations, apps, and devices.

Hello Sebastien,

I am an investor from the earliest times of Syscoin with the ICO and Moolah debacle in August 2014.

I have an idea for you.

Looking at the DIF announcement reminder now, and I have seen the DIF site at the moment you announced it on the 24th of May, I cannot help but notice that ALL the other companies have their NAME WITH LETTERS next to their logo, Blockchain Foundry is the only one which has only provided their logo for the compilation.

That's generally not a good idea. Blockchain Foundry is (still) not a renowned company like e.g. Mercedes Benz, McDonalds, Twitter, Shell, Nike or Apple to name a few, which just don't need any letters or words to be recognizable. People need to see Blockchain Foundry - both logo AND name with letters.

You should provide marketing materials to companies, conferences, websites, etc. with both - like it is done finely in the Brochure for the Consensus 2017. I just don't know how you missed it for the DIF foundation/site. "It takes too much space" shouldn't be a reason.
You see on the pic how much space "Danube Tech GmbH" takes, still it doesn't matter to them.

If it is all about the physical space that the letters of the company name take, you could make it with a smaller size of the font.

But company insignia should be present EVERYWHERE - both logo AND name.

Thanks and good luck!

Agreed, we had provided a logo with the name on it as obviously Blockchain Foundry Inc. is not yet a household name.

this is great news about syscoin > syscoin was down for a little time but its stable and have pretty good volume
and watching sys coin on polo for a long time and i think i should invest in this coin because its having bright future hopefully
after august its value will rise for sure
and one more thing i did not hear or read yet that any country make a law about cryptocurrency is illegal but their are many countries that did not look at crypto currency as a currency

There are no competitors. Satoshi originally designed a marketplace in bitcoin. It was out of scope so took it out we fulfilled his vision. There are no other onchain marketplaces out there today. Sys can also do certificates escrow messages and digital identity

Hello guys,

I downloaded the source code for linux from github and followed the installation instructions. After carrying out this commands

./autogen.sh
./configure
make

I get this error (after the "make" command):

"clientversion.cpp:42:19: fatal error: build.h: No such file or directory
compilation terminated."

I also tried "make install" with the same result. Anyone knows how to fix it
