Have kicked a thousand bucks' worth of Forty Two into the dev fund.

Thank you for your generosity and support. These funds will accelerate the addition of 42 to the decentralized exchanges.

For developers. Work for bounties:
...
4. Add 42 on BarterDEX or BISQ decentralized exchange - 0.017 42

Morning, Laser!

I’ve been going hard at the DEX-analysis project since we spoke several months ago. So yes: BISQ is a good option for us, though we are gonna have to co-operate to put volume on it.

Meanwhile, Mercatox? The reviews aren’t just bad, they’re awful!

And Bittrex? Bittrex has increased it trading-volume minimums. 42-coin isn’t going to get a berth there until our volume is far far higher.

And got us a brief mention in the international press. Only tiny (right at the bottom); but the article is on the front page today:

Morning!

Removed BarterDEX for now due to it's 'dirty beta'.
Mercatox is on list because of free voting, our target there is advertising and extra nodes. Bittrex is requested by many users.

And got us a brief mention in the international press. Only tiny (right at the bottom); but the article is on the front page today:

Great article! Thank you for mentioning 42-coin. ))

'Removed BarterDEX for now due to its 'dirty beta'.'

I have so so very much to learn about DEXes; but I am determined to eventually be competent.

Laser and Than-Ioan get the credit, hana. Feel free to trade 42 hard, as that would be both profitable and helpful.

As a verified member (at last) of Bittrex I did my request today to add 42 to their market! We just need some  M  Grin Grin RE traffic to the markets that we are already registered..

Even a pinch of volume on Tradesatoshi.

And in the real world:

'With foreign investors pulling their money en masse, Argentina’s central bank was forced to take drastic action to stabilize the country’s currency. On Friday, policymakers lifted the benchmark interest rate to 40 percent after days of intervening heavily in financial markets.'            https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/04/business/economy/argentina-economy-interest-rates.html

Deflationary non-Governmental currency, anyone?

Yes, it worked. Why did this happen? You know?

Transaction was not properly broadcasted, maybe because of a very small number of network connections at the moment you send it. Sometimes this happens on wallets with a closed port #4242.

Sorry for my ignorance, how do you check/set port 4242 in your wallet.

Sorry for my ignorance, how do you check/set port 4242 in your wallet.

One of the simplest methods to open the port is to use a uTorrent: go to "Preferences" >> "Connection", opposite the "Port used for incoming connections" put 4242 and click on "Ok".

To check is your port opened or closed: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ , http://ping.eu/port-chk/.
If this method is not working for you but you want to open the port for incoming connections,  send me in PM your router model and firewall name and I will try to help you.

Thanks for that reply.  Indeed the port was closed.  I set it and port 2121 open on the computer where the wallets are.  Interesting that once a static address is made, the process is simple on my router.  Thank you for the advice.

One other question.  Setting the conf file to 2121 & daemon to 1 & address to 127.0.0.1, how is the best way to check it is working? The console doesn't seem to provide much help.
