When we talk about cryptocurrency network, anything could happen in a short or long run. At the same lots of digital currencies existed following bitcoin which got vanished in a very short time. On this account the possibility of bitcoin getting replaced by some other digital currency is very low.

thats true, bitcoin was created as a perfect currency and it just cannot be simply replaced by something else because it is too strong Bitcoin is definitely not perfect, however it is far more polished and has a larger community, and it has not been challenged by anything that could grow as big as it has and be as polished as Bitcoin is without a ton of mediocre gimmicks to try and make it better without actually offering anything. |

I hope it will not happen soon or will not happen because I have my investment with bitcoin. But if that will happen I have no choice but to accept the reality. So maybe this time I should also be investing with altcoins since there are altcoins that has a good potential now to replace bitcoin like ETH.
Well you can do both and it is actually profitable. Many have testified it and they are still doing it up until now. Not having any problems but gaining more in this process. ETH is never even close to replacing BTC with it's fake pump and dump schemes. There's no alt that's ever close to becoming the 'next big crypto' that can match bitcoin, considering the support bitcoin has, the community, and the usability. So, until another alien kind of touch occurs, we need not to worry. Any crypro based new things will be under bitcoin system only. |

Im never thinking any altcoin with replace bitcoin, but for short time, i think other altcoin have biggest potentiallay to rising than bitcoin, because the lower marketcap and the easier to mining than bitcoin. |

Why not! I mean invention can happen anytime. Before the introduction of bitcoin, people have no idea what crypto currency is. Bitcoin came and won million hearts. This way, any great innovative idea can come up anytime, which probably will change the course of money making idea like bitcoin did to us.
I think we should be open for new technologies instead of thinking small things.

We did not know it and no one woul know. As for me no other cryptocurrency could replace bitcoin as of now. Bitcoin is the first and the most famous cryptocurrency today. It could be surpassed but it cannot be erase or terminate bitcoin as it is the most used cryptocurrency. But it could be possible if other cryptocurrency could have many supporters as bitcoin have on these days.

New technologies of other cryptos? In terms of technology, almost all cryptos has the same system and that system derived because of bitcoin itself. I don't see any chance for other cryptos to replace bitcoin since if it will happen that bitcoin became a low profile now, all cryptos will suffer the same. |

Well its a normal human nature that we always switch too the best option just like we switch from the faint money system to this vertual money system but i don't think i will leave bitcoin usage just from any altcoin because its priced crossed bitcoin price
There are definitely some "better" types of cryptocurrencies, or ones that have more features or extend upon the features offered by Bitcoin, but even though they are classed as "better" it doesn't really mean much if they can't get a following that is interested in keeping the crypto alive beyond speculation. |

I highly doubt that. We see huge spikes and falls on daily basis on many alt coins, and this 120% rise in price would probably be another pump and dump attempt. |

I am a bit afraid of Monero power too but is needed. More anonymity is needed in the crypto world. I don't think that it will replace bitcoin, we have seen Ethereum before claiming to be the best thing and that it had a bright future yet they got hacked and a major flaw in its security protocol were breaked. Now it is fixed but this tells us that Bitcoin hardly can be replaced by any other crypto currency. And even if that happens we switch to the new one but this for me is not going to happen. |

I too don’t think this would be possible. Currently bitcoin is the strongest cryptocurrency and it will continue to be the number one crypto currency. It was the first of its kind to take off and hasn’t failed once since it’s release! |
