Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency?

To believe (e.g. to be certain) something like that does not make rational sense. To say that is a statistic probability makes much more sense. However, this has been discussed over and over again. In order for the cryptocurrency space to thrive, it would be most suitable if there were multiple coins at the top and not just one (as currently Bitcoin is). Nobody can say that either one will happen for sure; they would only be speculating.

I doubt that there is any other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like ripple and litecoin. k down the road potentially, but as of now the focus seems to be on how to make Bitcoin better, safer and more accessible.

Well i do think, bitcoin cannot be replaced by any other cryptocurrencies because bitcoin is the strongest and the number one cryptocurrency so why would bitcoin can be replaced by other cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is also legal in some countries and it is mostly used for there investment.

In my own opinion bitcoin will never ever be replaced by other crypto currencies unless some one will gonna bit the million values of all bitcoin in one or other coin so I guess that is the only way to beat bitcoin at all because it has lot of investors to get in the competion and be equal into it.

Bitcoin is not know before 10 year by humanity. So it has became special among human kind, but there can be a time where respect for the bitcoin will be lost in human minds. Then another crypto-currency will definitely supersede the mighty Bitcoin.

I have a lot of suspicion about this. Because, many years have passed, but no coin has ever come near him & there is no doubt about whether it will come in the future. Butcoin retains its possition well-holding & going forward.

That possibility is highly possible, I have heard that in the past years etherium has been ruling the cryptoworld and everyone in the cryptoworld didn't think that bitcoin would be this big, but now look at how fast and big bitcoin have become. That being said, I think anyother cryptocurrency as long as people ate gonna take notice of it will rise, to the point of surpassing bitcoin if they would invest on it.

Till now, no coin have the potential to replace bitcoin but no one can predict the future of any market, maybe it can happen in future as no one was interested in ethereum last year and it is now 2nd largest marketcap coin in just one year. So everything can happen, but no one can predict it.

Same as the reality mentioned by the above mate I don't think that bitcoin gets replaced by some other digital currency. Regularly several digital currencies with different features get into existence. Right now the focus of tokens were to get listed under the top ten list of coinmarketcap. No project has evolved with an objective to replace bitcoin.

Not easy as Bitcoin becomes a benchmark for crypto.
Unless the forking made bitcoin unstable in which case whole crypto space would shake,
Or another concept comes instead of proof of work which would able to process blocks faster on consistent basis,

No way. Bitcoin is a platform for us to know the others cryptocurrency. If we mention about cryptocurrency, absolutely we will mention about Bitcoin first. Moreover, Bitcoin now is the most trusted coin and more people trust to use it more than the other crypto

I don't think that bitcoin could be replace by another cryptocyrrency because it is the mother of all cryptocurrency right now. Mostly bitcoin is being used when you do trading, invest in ICO and most gambling site used it.

I think will not happen, for sure because bitcoin is very unstoppable many crypto tried to replace bitcoin, but even it go near to the status of bitcoin they cannot do, so what more of bitcoin increases and grows more, what will happen to other, for sure they will not prevail. And I do not think that etherium or any other digital currency will outlast or surpassed bitcoin.  Bitcoin is the first digital currency and its worth is proven.  All cryptos will not exist if not for bitcoin.  There are many supporters of bitcoin and it is increasing so its impossible that it can be replaced by other digital currency.

Anything can be possible in the technology-based monetary system, day by day it's getting changed at the whole around the world. Bitcoin has brought a great change in this system. Most of the people is getting familiar to this platform through the Bitcoin,
Now Bitcoin is the most valuable currency system but it can be changed anything by converting into any other cryptocurrency. It'll not a big deal if any other cryptocurrency would take the position of Bitcoin in the future.

Bitcoin is the first used and the most powerful crypto currency, and it will not be replaced by any altcoin. There is many promising crypto currencies having good potential, but all of them are depending in Bitcoin's price and trading statut.
