Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
it is unlikely to happen as bitcoin has already its name and is consistent to be the number 1 cryptocurrency and its proven already for how many years. some new coins arises but they come and gone unlike bitcoin that it stays in here. so for me it is impossible to happen.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Supplanting/replacing BTC will be a hard activity and I don't think there is a coin that can do it. Since BTC has the most measure of help and individuals utilizing it than some other coin out there. BTC has been its first kind and has been the longest crypto there is for the time being.

Of course. Bitcoin is as a first step in new economics. It has some disadvantages. There will be another token which will be using. Maybe each country will have their own token

Of course it will. The only question is when will it happen? I think not earlier than 10 years. By that time, surely there will be coins with more advanced technology.

A lot will try to replace BTC, but no one will succeed, not in the foreseeable future, maybe when all world move to crypto (including governments) we will see better alternatives compete with BTC.

Sure it will be replaced... I don't know if it will be soon. Let's be fair - Bitcoin is not technologically perfect. It has very strong support from investors and is well known, but we should also remember how fast this market changes.

No, as you can see the bitcoin performs well in field of electronic banking, which they reach more than $17,000.00 per bitcoin. It is a good outcome that many people are trusted to their services and continuously accepting their product in the market.

Yes, litecoin will replace bitcoin one day in the future. Litecoin is more advance and the fees are a lot more cheaper compare to the bitcoin. Litecoin is blazing fast too, the transaction. I really hope that most of the people adapt the use of litecoin and make it the next generation of bitcoin.

For me there's no other crypto could replace BTC even the top altcoin now which is the Ethereum. It is the fastest-growing asset in the world this year.

I have no doubt that someday Bitcoin will be replaced by another currency. At least in the sense of as a currency of payment.

Market share is certainly different, bitcoin unlikely can stand alone without altcoin, too many altcoin will make positive effect of bitcoin, and I'm sure a lot of altcoin there are only a few that can survive.

Bitcoin can quite be replaced by other altcoins although now seem bitcoin is too difficult to replace but you should know the life is always change and nothing is exist forever. In the future if everyone can generate a coin which have technology better bitcoin, respond to demand of society then why it can't replace bitcoin. Now bitcoin price is high without by its value that's because it's only exist 21 millions coins but so many people want to buy it that make bitcoin price is increasing.

The position of bitcoin as the number 1 ang pioneering coin is hard to replace most specially now that the price is hiking to the moon. It will takes time before any coin next to it replace its current position. Market share is certainly different, bitcoin unlikely can stand alone without altcoin, too many altcoin will make positive effect of bitcoin, and I'm sure a lot of altcoin there are only a few that can survive.
Indeed, bitcoin can stand independently compaired to altcoins. It will be an achievement for an altcoin to replaced ethereum and other coin next to bitcoin. It looks impossible for it to replace bitcoin.

I think it will be difficult to replace bitcoin. let alone replace, if there is altcoin that matches the price of bitcoin will surely happen extraordinary phenomena for the selection of king cryptocurrency. let alone bitcoin is the first digital coin that pioneered of other altcoin.

The first cryptocurrency and the most trusted by the people, the price will just continue to rise because people have already invested and with this currency they will help to develop and more people will use bitcoin to increase demand, once massive adoption will happen, we will witness that bitcoin will be like a normal currency that we are using now.

It will not happen, bitcoin has a lot of conflicts that we are currently facing right now because if the developers will not fix this problem then bitcoin will be just an option to use in doing payments and dealing with some deals online. Bitcoin need to fix some problems first before it will be able to be like or act like a normal currency.
