Yes, it is possible. May be more and more people may switch to other cryptocurrency alternatives like Dash due to high Bitcoin network fees. Not sure when the lightning network will be implemented as the goal of the project is to decrease the transaction fees and make faster payments.

Nothing is impossible to imagine. And yes, Bitcoin can be replaced in future, nobody knows what changes will take place. If the high fees and slow speed goes on for long, then it will happen sooner.

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
Of course, Bitcoin may be replaced by a more potent Altcoin like ETH. I think Bitcoin can hardly hit $ 20,000 but the ETH could hit $ 10,000 in the next few months. ETH will be a good candidate to replace Bitcoin.
The price of Bitcoin has reached $20,000 when it listed on CME for future trading. Remember, the price of Bitcoin can make the price of Altcoin up or down. Check the current market, no altcoin can against the bloodbath time of Bitcoin.

It is hard to speculate that some other cryptocurrency can overtake Bitcoin. It is because of the fact that Bitcoin has established itself as the leader and it is leading other cryptocurrencies by a fair margin.

No sign of altcoins can replace bitcoin position as the most commonly used cryptocurrency. Although the tx fee looks high, but volume of transaction hasn't been rivaled by altcoins.

Well, it is tough to speculate if bitcoin will be replace by another cryptocurrency because it is unpredictable. Bitcoin is the mothet of all coin yet, it is very powerful compared hence, there's a low probability for them to replace this coin. Maybe it will take a in order for them to replace bitcoin and it will be an achievement for them if they could.

It's hard to answer this question.t is wrong. Everything can happen in the future.
Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, its value is the highest, nowdays it's the number one of the cryptomarket so it's not  easy to replace it.

maybe yes, maybe no. there is always a debate for your question. that basically not all members here will agree. but in my opinion, all always have their own portions. bitcoin may be replaced by another altcoin, if the altcoin is created over the bitcoin. but if it does not exist, it is not impossible that bitcoin will remain a crypto king.

No because it is in the peak of popularity, many people invest and use bitcoin nowadays, so it's hard to say that it will be replace by other cryptocurrencies.

Yes, this is easy to understand. Bitcoin may not be suitable to replace every fiat coin in today's world like now and make a good universal coin. So another coin might replace it, or Bitcoin will develop in such a way that it will not exist anymore.

no other coin cant replace bitcoin because as you see there were now many coins out there specifically altcoins and tokens but all of them had also their own usage and blockchain but bitcoin has also have its own so therfore its impossible for bitcoin to be replaced directly.  although bitcoin can be replaced in terms of sending or paying due to the fact that its fees were too over rated now and people has infact using other alternatives like litecoin and dash.

Since the begin Bitcoin has been the father of all cryptocurrency that is made from the past till now. Because of its successful outcome, many developers is inspired to make their own project. That why their are many appearing ICO's. Yes not all altcoin has been successful but because of this Bitcoin has been more popular than ever. We all know that other cryptocurrency before they can be listed to other exchange they have to pay in Bitcoin. So Bitcoin has a huge factor up today so i think Bitcoin will always be a reference and will not be replace.

In my country, the government has implemented e-money as a tool for various payment transactions. E-money is published by several banks with the aim of diverting the public to take advantage of technological advances in the world economy. The enactment of e-money is the first way for bitcoin can be accepted by the government in my country because of the same form of transactions that is digital that distinguishes it is the technology used. However, with the enactment of e-money, this indicates that the currency in the form of digital increasingly wide open to replace the paper money.

Of course, since the fees charged for each transaction that is made with btc are being high, thereby making the only feasible way to use this currency is in large amounts of money. Making way for any another cryptocurrency to replace it.
