I seriously doubt anyone - rich or poor or something in between - gambles with the mindset of "Man I really, really I hope I end up losing and I hope the experience is painful and miserable."

The primary reason I gamble is to profit. It doesn't always happen with each individual gambling session, but the long term aim is to profit. Sure, it's fun as well.

They have already the things that ordinary people want, they do not have to work hard anymore. Maybe there will come a time in everybody's lives that in time, it can be conquered. Profit is enticing especially when you know you have the chance to win it. Don't gamble also if you're too emotional.

Not really, it depends on how you act towards it. If you think one dollar is too huge for you to spend to go for lower amount perhaps for few satoshi . It is a matter on how you see things, for some people that have no issue with money then few hundreds dollar supposed to be cheap for them to spend in gambling

You reason is the most advisable to do, having fun does not necessarily mean to win most of the time but what is more important is to understand gambling and our chances as well. The reason why I play a gambling is to become happy. Because of this I said my life is full of fun. Having more of friends in gambling gives happiness and excitement to those people involve in gambling. But i'm not addicted in gambling winning or losing small amount of money is enough.

For profit that is why i am gambling to win in the game but i am badluck sometimes and i lost in the game for two row. But triple winning if i am luck so therefore 3 out of 5 is my winning side. I guess we just have to respect whatever our purpose here, as long as we are using our own money it's our right to decide on what to do. Back to the topic, nowadays I only play for fun and not for profit, knowing that I am really not lucky in those kind of games. However, in a month or two, I might start gambling for profit again (the Internationals on dota 2 which I am very fond of).

Both. People use to gamble to make profit while having fun. Because in the first place gambling for me is a matter of making fun. For me, it is made so that people have killing of time if they're not doing anything. But for the people who are very greed in earning they forget to always think that gamble is made only for fun. But for me the main reason is to have fun and at the same time is to make my capital for bussiness bigger. And ofcourse I don't relt only on gambling because we all know that gambling make all of our profit loose and make us to play more for us to get what is lost but we ended up lost and soon nothing will left. This question is very interesting to me. I can answer in both, I gamble for profit and also because it is fun. When I was young, I was very interested in gambling, at the beginning, I pretty much win. I have a lot of money and I think that can make a lot of money and can get rich from it. But not, as time goes on the more I lost more and lost all the money I have . I think of a thing, gambling will never be profitable, even if unlucky, can lose all my assets. I realized that the important thing and has no more gambling. Currently, occasional I still gambling but I still see it as the game is only fun, if I win, the better

I gamble just for fun. I play gambling whenever I have free time and if I am not busy with school works. Gambling with friends is more fun than gambling just by yourself. It really helps if you have someone with the same interest as yours  . Gambling is also exciting especially if you are winning. The excitement it brings makes you want to play for more which I am very cautious. I know some people who became addicted with gambling and does not end up well in life because of the addiction.

That is not the only reason, many people gamble to get fun, it is not different than any other activity in which you pay money to get some entertainment, if we win money then that is just the cherry on the cake, so I think you are generalizing.

The fun we can get it in many ways, But there once you paid money, you will get only enteratinment no other profit. In gambling if you play with money you will get double profit, one is as usual fun and enteratinment, another one is if you have luck you will double your investment. So many people play gambling to get fun, i am aslo play for fun.

I gamble for both the fun and the profit especially when I run its more fun than anything else. Gambling is a serious business and can make you rich but we also derive the fun part especially if it's a soccer or sports betting gamble and in the end we all become happy.

Depends.  During a big tournament like the World Cup it's fun to pick a team and see how they do during the tournaments but I certainly don't expect to make a profit.  Gambling on horse racing is different though, especially if you are good at studying the form.

Actually both. I love football since age of six when I visited a professional football match in Bundesliga for the first time. I would say I have a good knowledge in European football so it makes fun to test my knowledge and experience by setting bets with real money (or Bitcoins). And mostly there is a profit what is also a motivation to bet.
It's the best thing that can happen to you to have fun and make money.
