Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's
computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be
reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Cryptocoinexplorer is about 400 blocks behind on FTC stats. :0 I've reported it to the owner of that site and hopefully it will catch up.

Sal anyway to add rec for me? I got the blockecplorer going if you need that info, also forgot to ask anyway to get the network hashrate under ltc also?
Do you have an exchange for it as well? I would need the blockexplorer and the exchange. Sal no exchange yet but do have the block explorer can we do anything or need to wait for exchange

Honestly exchange is more important than a blockexplorer. We need to wait as price to convert to BTC / LTC is key to my calcs.

To clarify - an exchange with an API so I can auto retrieve the prices is what I need. BTER, Vircurex, MCXNow, Cryptsy, BTC-E, etc are all good ones.

ARG has a random coin reward between 1 and 5 per the info thread and it isn't quite random but some other factors are involved. Until I can figure out a way to accurately predict it for the next block, I am erring on the side of being conservative.

It's obviously not 1.

It's obviously not 1. Perhaps. Though I think stating it as 1 is correct since it allows the user of CoinChoose to really decide and doesn't artificially inflate profitability. ARG is really an auto-CC proof coin (and this random block reward was meant to specifically prevent the auto-switchers).

Is there a compelling reason to know the values of the block currently being mined? How would accuracy be affected by only using values up to the last solved block? Just a thought

argentum will have an average of a 3 coin reward per block based on the random reward system of 1 - 5.
it shouldn't be 1 coin per block like it is indicated on your site.
(1+5)/2 = 3.

Just have to agree to disagree. If there is any probability that the next block mined would be 1, then that is what I should have on the site. I need to be conservative.
