I have an impression that the coinchoose.com graphs are cached.

So I never know what time the axis refers to.

It would be good to state clearly what time it refers to,  UTC, EDT, EST etc.

For example you could just add "Currency profitability in the last 48 hours. Times are UTC"

Thanks!

What time does it currently show you compared to your local timezone?

It is UTC time, but I am curious what the charting app does to that time

Could you make it so that by default, it ranks coins by "Avg Profitability Past 7 Days"? It's more meaningful than just current profitability, I think.

Or just allow users to select their favorite column, and sort by that when page auto-updates. Maybe store it in a cookie.

I'm currently developing an experimental social AI platform

It is not last trade value - it is open trade value and an average at that to get some depth to the market.

As promised earlier, I've added miner switching, based on profitability to my front-end Crypto Miners in Tray, using data from CoinChoose API.

Sal002, I've sent you BTC0.04 (my day's worth of mining) as a thank-you donation. I've also added a direct link to CoinChoose.com from my application's GUI.

Thanks!!!  And good luck on the app - looks nice.

Do you mean the larger hour retrieval? It seems to work with the default, but just verifying.

Yeah - I've been trying to get 24 hour historical data and more, and it just returns null (try http://www.coinchoose.com/jsondata.php?hours=24 or http://www.coinchoose.com/jsondata.php?hours=168). The length of time it takes to return null seems to indicate that processing is taking place, but for whatever reason it is not completing it and sending the data to the client.

I'll check.  I have some tuning to do on that call Smiley

I temporarily added it this morning, and the network hash is so low (basically I can mine it with my cards and be over 51% of the mining power) that I need to investigate further.

Likely block explorer is broken as a coin gets autoremoved if it can't updated itself.  I will look.

i would wish that there would be ONE side.

the secondary marcet should be converted with the BTC/LTC rate, so that we see what really on top.

Well - I thought about that.  But if you study the two charts, you will realize there isn't balance between the LTC and BTC based profitability.  In other words, I could mine one coin, trade it to BTC then convert it to LTC and end up with more LTC than if I mined the coin and converted it directly to LTC.  I need to keep showing this difference.

That being said, I may create a "Combined" page as well.
