Yeah that's the exact same one I switched to as well, can anyone tell me how to setup my CGMiner so when a pool goes down it switches to another, cause all of give-me-ltc went down when I was asleep, wasted time mining.

Just add another string of "-o $HOST -u $USER -p $PASSWORD". So, it looks something like this: /usr/local/cgminer/cgminer -o stratum+tcp://stratum.give-me-ltc.com:3333 -u #### -p #### -o stratum+tcp://us.wemineltc.com:80 -u #### -p #### .... {add even more if you want to} On another note, I really hope the admins are able to get this pool back online. It is, by far, the most stable LTC pool out there.

I love what you guise are doing BUT! have you considered adding something to protect miners against these pool-down events? Since the pool is PPLNS every-time it goes down it's a bad thing for miners and you alike because of the fees. My proposal, should you choose to accept it is to implement a rapidly decaying function while (client_hash_rare < crilent_hash_rate / 0.3h*1.3 && pool_hash_rate!=really_low). What I'm saying (might not be clear because of the wine POI(proof of ingestion)) is not to have loyal miners affected by pool down events since it looks like they left the pool when this happends and it take a long time for rewards to spool back up.

Sorry, wine showing down my brains kh/s but you could implement exp(x) as 1/(miner_kh_rare/pool_mine_rate) though 0/0 would need to yield 1 instead on +-inf.

Great news I know better then to leave coins on a server but in this case did have a couple days work on there. Moving miners back now.

This is getting ridiculous, I mean its supposed to be a professional pool and it cant even stay up for 24 hours straight, major problem.
It looks like its still accepting shares though, they had better be credited...

You are totally right. We are doing our best to keep everything working and measures are being taken to solve this problems. But the truth for us and everyone in the Internet... if they want to take you down, they can do it. No matter how much protection you put in front of it! But don't think we are going to quit. We are were to stay! This is getting ridiculous, I mean its supposed to be a professional pool and it cant even stay up for 24 hours straight, major problem.
It looks like its still accepting shares though, they had better be credited...

Guys i hate to be the bearer of bad news. But there will be some downtime in the next few hours (should only be 5 - 10 min) this is to fix some urgent bugs in the system. You may have also noticed that the Website has changed this is also due to some added security to the pool.
I know this is extremely frustrating to you all that's why im trying to give as much notice as i can our main goal is to give you the best service we can. Im thinking of lowering fees again just as small thank you.
I will give you a firm date when i have one. Will also update the website prior to the maintenance.
