Waves team thinks they can hide the truth by starting a new thread.
LOL.
I think Sasha is confused. He has no clue how to stop this down trend.

LOL.
It was a mistake to close one of the most active threads on BTC talk. It had a massive following. Once WAVES got it's ass in gear it would have been a major asset. Very short sighted to get rid of it. It suggests to me that Sasha is really pretty bad at PR/publicity (if any further evidence was needed).

He may be thinking the fud in the thread is causing the price drop and the original investors are angry with the price after the ICO.

Yeah I agree, if I was still in Waves, I'd leave the thread open. If I was Sasha, I would be more actively defending Waves and doing a better job of PR / marketing. The team is just way too nonchalant and inactive. That thread would have been the best "told you so" if they left it open and Waves outperformed the market sentiment. WAVES will eventually succeed, I think because With 30K bitcoins you could achieve a lot of things.

They should have had a few PR agencies handling this the minute they were able to cash some BTC.

If put to good use there's a big chance WAVES will succeed in the long run.

FUD does not affect anything UNLESS there is already some disquiet in the community. The price drops were due to market sentiment - the FUD may have taken advantage of that but it only sped up what would have happened anyway. I've come to realise it is a mistake to try to dispel FUD directly or try to cut it out. The major problem is the lack of communication from the WAVES team and a general social awkwardness. They just let poor Twiggy take all the flack and act all aloof themselves. Being on the slack and an occasional fireside chat with Uncle Tai Zen is not enough. If they have any sense they would do the following: 1)Use some of the 30K BTC to hire a proper media relations/PR company - should be an absolute must for any project of this size 2)Unlock the original thread 3)Do a podcast blitz (not just with Uncle Tai Zen) 4)Do interviews with as much of the crypto/tech/financial press as possible 5)Have a member of the team attend international conferences when they are on, and spend the rest of the time travelling internationally to do all of the above (might be expensive, but more than worth it in terms of expanding the platform) - this should be a separate person from the dev team who doesn't need to concentrate on development

Hire you to coordinate it yesterday. You get it more than most in my opinion.

I hope someone take it to Sasha's attention.
