I installed the AMD Overdrive utility, and disabled Turbo Core. I'll see if that helps.

Immediately I can see my temps dropped to 32C, and the speed is now 1.5kH/s

Yes, huge mining overhaul, most of work done without commits because it was being pieced together (wouldn't compile, would crash etc), after initial code development push of changes was done on branch 1.1, now 1.1 is master and commits are being pushed there. https://github.com/VeriumReserve/verium/commits/master

All OSes and architecture wallet builds for 1.1 are now being prepared, including the addition of windows 64bit

Any significant advancements using the 64bit build? Will mining hashrate improve?

Also should we prefer wallet mining over veriumMiner CLI?

It isn’t botnet resistant though.. you know those huge hashrates on various pools. Makes it a little discouraging for the small time miners out there

It is recommended for all 64bit Windows user to get 64bit wallet from vericoin.info. Check for update in wallet will only offer upgrade to current architecture. 64bit wallet for windows is new this release so please download from site.

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

the other one is missing so many important details it is almost useless.

FYI, RAM is just as important as your CPU. (Speed, Quantity, and Configuration MATTER ALOT)

Thanks for the cool spreadsheet Kaptain!

Anyone got any experience mining with blade servers? You can get some really nice used ones off Ebay for good prices and I've been checking with some co location server halls (where you rent rack space) and some of them don't even charge electricity, just a fixed fee. The fee is very attractive considering how much power a blade server will consume running 100%. The server halls also got redundancy when it comes to cooling, power and uplink.
I got no experience with blade servers but I'm usually pretty good at figuring stuff out.

The main reason I'm interested in this kind of solution is it will prevent my wife from killing me due to me overcrowding our apartment with PCs  Cool
