hey could someone help me please i'm trying to point my miner at pool and its connecting but i'm not sharing anything. this is what my bat file looks like is there anything missing from it "minerd.exe -a scrypt -t 4 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://vrm.cpuminers.com:3333 -u ******* -p ******* ", when I click my bat file it starts up no problem but I keep getting this "[2016-10-16 15:59:44] accepted: 0/13 (0.00%), 23.28 khash/s (booooo)" can anyone help this noob out please :-)
1. Download cpuminer-opt v3.4.7 2. It has many kernels, choose the one to fit your processor, mine is... cpuminer-corei7-avx -a scrypt:1048576 -o stratum+tcp://poolinat0r.com:4443 -u xx.xx -p xx 3. If it don't work (scrypt buffer allocation failed), set the virtual memory (page file) to 32GB changed my virtual mem to 32+ gigs and still getting the same error Scrypt buffer allocation fail Fail thread 78248472 failed to initialize , any ideas ?? thanks guys @effecttocause is working on flushing out and revamping the Verium mining code to fix some of the people experiencing errors on Windows.

I find it so awesome and novel that people are using single board computers to mine Verium optimally, nice work guys. That didn't occur to me when we developed it. It's also very cool that mining optimally is also still competitive cost-wise with a regular computer. In this context and with how efficient Verium mining on single boards actually is, I think a mobile app for mining on iOS or android would work well and not drain the battery too much, or get too hot. Conversely one could mine while charging their phone and make some money on their phone. Could be a very cool app. We are working on a new in house BIP32 HD spv wallet for VeriCoin and Verium and I would love to add mining to the Verium app. This is one of the reasons I've been spending quite a bit of time making the most efficient and smartest in wallet mining software possible for Verium. If any app developers are interested in helping us with the Verium mining mobile app there would be VRM bounties.

When marketing campaign announced for months? We have enough reading words without coverage ... I'm just as frustrated as you and want to see results as well. But it takes time and patience to do something right. Kevin of Blue Lynx Marketing is in daily contact with the developers to iron out the approach and finalize the ads. From what he's shown I'm confident if will make a big impact for Vericoin and Verium.

Best bit is that its (very) cheap to enter mining like this, requires little knowledge, and is profitable. Thanks for making the coin!

Yes, This coin needs to take some specific actions like this from DEV I mean that VRM technology is not bad but some issues happened with this coin and the lack of supports from DEV had made it down before. I will see your next actions and have a certain decision to buy VRM then .

When the marketing kicks in we will get some serious attention from the crypto community and in fintech. People will be looking for new investment vehicles since Bitcoin is tanking because of possible hardfork/split. We could gain some serious traction.

The pool is down atm Has been fixed and is running as usual again Testbug why vrm windows miner connected to the poolinator, after some time stop sending share? Is the problem known to you? I was checking the logs and everything looking fine. Nevermind the stratum server was running for more than 4months now without a restart, restarted it now. Miners should reconnect in a few minutes. Please say me if you still have the problem. I was doing some reconfiguration 2 weeks back on the firewall and how the stratum is setting up the ban for users not mineing verium scryptn but other scrypts. edit: Checked the logs after restart of the server machine: Miners are reconnected and hashing again.

Someone constantly dump, the power of the network is still relatively high. Volumen on bittrex for the last days are amazing Now everything in project development I saw! Some minutes ago price went to 0.29$/VRM on cryptopia. And immediatly someone sold some for 0.10$ to make the price crash again. Wanna know? Yes. Someone is constatly manipulating the VRM price to keep it low.
