I'm really looking forward to seeing what 2018 brings for Burst, I have been in this coin since early 2016 and yes I did put a lot of my Burst into the assets at the time and lost a lot of Burst as one of the devs decided to leave and the assets become worthless. I then started mining Burst to build up my stack again and have since stopped mining as I only had a small rig but now I'm just sitting on my bag waiting for the price to rise which I think we could see 1k sats sometime this year. I'm still supporting the project as I have been for almost 2 years now, I'm just not as active as I used to be.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

So, because there was a lot of confusion around wether you needed 1 or 2 bursts to start mining or using a wallet, I decided to re-upload my 'how to start with burst' video. I made some quick on-screen adjustments, mainly showing warnings that what the voice-over says isnt entirely true Anyhow, here it is: How to get started with burst - Mining and running a wallethttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_DNllF-9NYIf you were kind enough to share the previous version anywhere on the web, please note that the link has changed! If you could update the link, that would be great! Thanks!

Cor Blimey... Just gone through the torturous synchronise procedure.
Used the Blockchain Download... still took 4 days. Slowest wallet I've ever used. Seems to constantly be using computer resources. Can't stop the blockchain import to resume at a later date???
So what is my address? Account ID? Numeric Account ID? No idea. Burst needs to be spent to activate wallet? Burst needs to be spent just to name a wallet? Account not active until an outgoing transaction is done? With no BURST in it? Having to use faucets??? What is this nonsense?
Now needs an update immediately. Bittrex can't recognise my BURST ID if that's what I have to use? Is the message field mandatory? Where's a 'written' guide to getting up and running with the basics here?
I've dealt with 40 - 50 wallets before. This is without a doubt the worst experience out of any of them. Who on earth even thought at any point that any of this was somehow even vaguely a good idea?
Wouldn't normally post a message like this but someone needs to point out that this is all seriously badly thought out and implemented! I've worked out how to traverse this minefield... but my mum couldn't, my neighbours couldn't, most people I know couldn't and that's the point!

Lucky for you and still jumping, I guess it will take some time and it will continue while btc still not getting the momentum of proceeding to 20k$ again, lets keep accumulating and wait for another wave, burst keeps doing well inside both trex and polo.

It would be nice if bitcoin kept in this range for half a year, and then the price for BURST, we would see in the area of 2000+

I just bought 2000 Burst, I read this is an old coin and can be mine through hard drive, but I prefer buying than mining, I'm surprised that it is very cheap right now I'm looking to buy more while cheap, who knows it could go up to 50 cents one day.

With about 88% of burstcoin already mined, what is the future of burstcoin? Its price is mired at around $0.10 or less, the future doesn't look too bright, no? Other coins which have over 3-4 years of existence have soared, except burstcoin, it seems. I have a few thousands of burstcoins but now I wonder if I should just sell them and go to other altcoins.

Rico666, this Burst passing service idea on /r/burstcoin might be promising for newbs who are having trouble activating their wallets. Anyhow, I know Burstnation has a mixing service. Could that be also used to send coins from Bittrex to a newb's "virgin wallet"?
