Hey burst friends, I wrote an new poc1 to poc2 converter for windows and linux systems with abort/resume and convert during mining support. For windows i implemented an convert during mining support which respect the hdd usage of mining software and automatically pause and resume the conversion. This means you can mine with full speed while converting all your plots. In short: If the mining software is working the conversion is halted. Else the conversion is running. Can someone give me a favor by opening a thread in /r/burstcoin and tell everyone in that community that there is a new gambling dice site made only for Burst? Ty. I am already banned or maybe censored over there for asking the wrong questions lol. Its also against the rules to make another account. |

It's interesting, so before it's all a single chain with not much activity; there is a desire to build and improve and fork is required; so fork occurs, the name burstcoin is used to continue the project, but there are miners who still mine the previous chain?  |

Stop spreading FUD. If there are miners mining the old version then they cant sell their coins anywhere because its not listed on any of the exchanges. I already said this in the other thread. Theres only one Burst chain that the whole community follows. |

Can the PoCC update the thread and the title? The information dont include the Burst Dymaxion. That should be something that should be seen from the very first opening post.
The other old thread should also be requested to be closed. Can someone from the PoCC do this or should we?

All this good news, and new exciting things, but the price is still crap. Too many massive players have a complete monopoly over Burst now. Just look how many 1PB rigs there are. I mean for me, in the UK, 1 PB, using 8TB external drives would cost me £18,750 and would earn me £290 per month, so 65 months (Yes over 5 years), just to recover my hardware costs. Also, that many drives are not cheap on electricity, despite popular belief. So unfortunately, much as i like Burst, and still mine it with 32TB (max i can do via solar power - so free) to me at least, its mining time has been and gone. To the guy with the dice game, i wish you lots of luck. I spent a lot of time in the burst casino when it was running, and regularly made 10K - 50K Burst a week (wish i had kept some of it), it had a huge following, and hopefully you can re-light that flame. Don't forget Bitsler has also supported Burst for ages, and allows easy conversion across various currencies. Drop in some btc/ltc/eth and convert to Burst or back... Good luck J |

Poc Consortium has given a new life for Burst. Otherwise too Burst is a great coin with great potential. It hasn't got its due recognition yet. It is a quite underrated coin as of now. But in the near future, it will surely go well. People just look at the coins value and underrate the coin that has a low value. Instead they should look about other important thing of a coin. Yes i agree that mining is not so profitable. But you can buy the Burst Coins for that money and hold it which will give you a better return in the future. Assume if you purchase the Burst Coins for 18,750 Pounds now, you will be having a big number of coins with you. I would say invest the money(that you want to spend on mining) to buy the Burst Coins from Poloniex or any good exchange. That will also help the Burst increase its value. Have no idea about them. But you have to be very careful before investing in any asset. Do all the due diligence before investing in any asset. |

The Burst asset exchange is useless. It would be more advisable to hold all your Bursts only in Burst. There are some mining assets that might give you some value, but you should know the issuer personally and trust him not to hide away lol.
