Looking forward to the launch! Great! Which services are you talking about and with who is the JV with? The services are related to licensed fiat money transfer and other financial applications utilizing the HEAT technology. Partnerships will be made public at the time or shortly before the services are available. At this moment the implementation is still work in progress, and now we have again switched focus to HEAT core while licenses, UI design etc. on that other side are pulling forward. Meanwhile we're sweating our assess off this week in order to release the HEAT Genesis block on Sept 5th, remember to check out some interesting ICO babble among other easygoing reading at the last two Crypto roundups released in a bit of shadows - http://heatledger.ghost.io/crypto-roundup-6/http://heatledger.ghost.io/crypto-roundup-7/

Would anyone like to sell any HEAT? I don't like c-cex and there is nothing on openledger so would prefer and outside deal. Like for 1.3BTC?

Until launch on the 5th you cant move funds from the ICO exchanges. You have to wait until the 5th or buy from one of the ICO exchanges for now.

It was a great move to give FIMK holders a buyout. Just like Lisk gave Crypti holders a buyout.
Imagine if years from now the heat devs switch to a new project with a new ico. And they are building the new project on the heat tech, which you paid for with your heat investment and also the opportunity cost of holding heat for years and trusting the devs to deliver.
You would surely be demanding that heat investors receive a buyout from the new project ico in that situation.
Absolutely, I completely agree that they should be able to buy into the ICO with FIMK. I just don't understand why it has to be more lucrative to buy in with FIMK than it is with BTC and why, even though all HEAT set aside for FIMK buyers was sold out, they still get the 1.45 multiplier . Anyway, my concerns will obviously be ignored by the developers, so it's time to put the discussion to an end.

Could Eliphaz elaborate on that please?

Because the FIMK investors made HEAT possible.
The FIMK investors funded the blockchain development which is HEAT using right now.
Because of the funds that where invested in HEAT, the devs had the time and resources to work years on the blockchain improvements and developement of HEAT.
FIMK investors didnt made any profit with FIMK coin since FIMK is a non profit coin.
I think thats the reason that the people who bought HEAT with FIMK get a slight advantage over people who are just stepping in. Cause they are the ones who waited a few years and made it possible to start HEAT.

In June 2014, FIMK Investors donated 533 BTC for 348440015 FIMK = 0.00000153 BTC/FIMK stage 1 - 0.00010 BTC/HEAT = 30 FIMK/HEAT = 0.00000333 BTC/FIMK stage 2 - 0.00013 BTC/HEAT = 40 FIMK/HEAT = 0.00000325 BTC/FIMK stage 3 - 0.00016 BTC/HEAT = 50 FIMK/HEAT = 0.00000320 BTC/FIMK stage 4 - 0.00020 BTC/HEAT = 60 FIMK/HEAT = 0.00000333 BTC/FIMK As you can see, people who believed in the devs, and held FIMK for 2 years since the ico, were given a 100% ROI What alternative would you rather see? Give the FIMK investors a 0% ROI, after 2 years? Giving FIMK investors a 100% ROI was clearly a good move. It builds trust with their earliest supporters and gives new investors the confidence to hold strong for years as well.

Wow dude, I really don’t understand your hangup here. Without knowing the multiplier ahead of time (and how it applied to each asset class), it would have been very difficult for traders to get the best deal on HEAT. The rules were clear, and those who wanted to work for the best deal on HEAT arbitraged through the various asset classes to get that deal. (And those who worked through FIMK had more difficulty by trading through an illiquid market). Would you punish those traders who worked through FIMK for the deal? Or the long term FIMK holders who funded the initial one man year of HEAT development? I commend your decision to support HEAT development with a cryptocurrency of known value and with more liquidity. However, that decision does not grant the entitlement to whine about it now. All HEAT sold are treated as equal. That's just the way it is.

Is this the first crypto with unlimited scalability from using a memory-mapped files system instead of a rusty-old embedded database? I almost forgot to mention, my body is ready for september

Actually you are wrong. You and me could agree on a price, I would put the money in escrow and when the genesis block is released, you send the heat tokens to me and I release the escrow funds... I did the same thing after the Lisk ICO. Would anyone like to sell any HEAT? I don't like c-cex and there is nothing on openledger so would prefer and outside deal. Like for 1.3BTC?

Also here: how and when can we claim our HEAT btw?
The how has been explained many times earlier in this thread and will be explained in detail still later, sorry for the bluntness but I don't have time to look it up or go through again right now. When? September 5th approximately. And here: http://heatledger.com/ico/Its already on c-cex. why not beginn to trade there after launch?

Probably, but I know that I would never trade on such a low key exchange... The possibility of getting shafted is too big on such exchanges. We need Poloniex, Bittrex... I do think HEAT will continue to be tradeable on C-Cex after launch.
