We were very lucky with those HEAT delays. All the other coins are tanking because of BTC rally and we are relatively stable with that IOU trading. Even if you decide to sell at the same price you bought with BTC you are still 150-200% profit. Nice.

Great observation!! what a legend. so true!
Yes but only if you bought on an exchange, for all the others (that bougzt with btc and eth directly viia the website) it is not possible to sell right now, so you can expect a lot of people to sell immediately after the coin is out and the price will fall below zero. Also have a look at the trading volume, it is almost zero.

Actually, no, the opposite is true. People who bought on the exchange and could have sold at any time might have already done so to ride the BTC train or buy some other coins. People who invested directly immediately after launch will have profit in terms of FIAT because in the meantime BTC became much more expensive while HEAT/BTC ratio was still solid.

No he is correct.

Anyone who bought in the exchanges c-cex or others may have bought sold or held, the price is the same as ICO... and the volume is very small.

Anyone who bought in the ICO has made money from BTC going up... If they bought in with BTC.

If they bought in with NXT or ETH then maybe about flat according to what stage they entered.

If you bought in with FIMK then you are really up regardless..

So the guys who bought in with FIMK may sell out on opening as they are up many times over... and they have been waiting three years for FIMK profit.

If you bought in with BTC at lets say $600 plus you could sell now as BTC is $780 right now.

BUT ONLY IF THE MARKET OPENS ABOVE ICO AND STAYS THERE.

and only if heat is ever released..

if there is FIMK and BTC ICO sell pressure then ouch...

SO perhaps the Dev of heat has to also think about this - it is bad to have an ICO open and then collapse - graph looks bad..

SO what to do???

Open with really great news....

Restrict selling until hype or marketing picks up.

But i say in the short term it does not matter...

HEAT comes from NXT and FIM and ideally they will have great tech as per the white paper.

But the question is can they achieve a tech equal or over the tech specs of the white paper?

I think they will release tech piece by piece and restrict markets to stop selling or they may have c-cex and their own internal market with wide spreads.

They have the tokens of many other platforms (NXT, ETH, ARD, ETC, BTC, FIM and Byteball) i suggest get some IOTA so to have a diverse and active decentralized market from the get go. Let the buying and selling happen in house for awhile..

I just want to see the tech... If there is a massive crash i will be searching for cash to buy more HEAT.

ps. Komodo is another interesting partnership i hope heat and Supernet interlock so we get anonymity and BTC POW added security.

Ps add Supernet to the spreadsheet of comparison platforms it has services not offered by heat yet.

They should be adding clients going by market cap, not random ico no one likes or wants like iota, komodo, and so on. if you want to actually solve a problem people have - a decentralized exchange - you have to prioritize coins by volume - btc, eth, etc, xmr, xrp, fct, dash, ltc, icn, usdt, and so on, not tiny vaporware crypto we see in 99% of announcements. One at a time if you must, but providing a service that there's demand for is what's important.

But you also have to look at the team. Not market cap.. that is covered by big centralized markets.

The HEAT team met and came out of Nxt with a Nxt fork and then addendum's, improvements with FIMK.

These guys all sort of come out of NXT same as Komodo and Supernet so they have a similarity and they also know each others tech.

Also the fact that HEAT has BTC, NXT, ARD, ETH, ETC, FIM, ByteBall already in the bank.

Also i suggest Komodo and IOTA becasue these two platforms come also out of Nxt history.

IOTA is CFB who is most likely BCNext. BCNext last words was he was leaving to create something new.. "IOTA..."?

Komodo comes for JL777 out of SuperNet out of Nxt.

I consider none of the above vaporware. And i think it is diverse and unique tech.

--------------

What i am saying is that if all these coins were available on HEAT i think most of the other centralized exchanges would find all the customers of the coins listed above would move from Poloniex over to HEAT. And we would be under the radar until it moves to the others.

We would get all NXT ARD traffic, All Supernet BTCD Komodo traffic and their assets, some Eth and most ETC traffic, IOTA is not on any exchange so HEAT could be the first... GREAT PR.. HEAT will have byteball so why not?

Fair point. i can see how similar tech can offer speed advantage at the least. but heat doesn't need to compete against polo. It simply needs to provide an alternative that feels safer to use through decentralization. There are people daily asking for some good options for decentralized exchanges to get the popular coins without putting your name onto some tracked database out of concern lets say for unknown future policies, and they are simply lacking right now. Good example is xmr (or insert your fav anon coin here) - there's currently no good decentralized way to keep your anonymity moving between btc and xmr. Anyway, it's all exciting, just want to make sure heat differentiates itself from bts by spreading outside of its niche foundation tech like graphene is for bts like nxt is for heat since it isn't restricted to it and hence the huge advantage. I feel bad for all the people in the ark thread unaware of this project being so far ahead of accomplishing everything they want.

you are like one year ahead with your thoughts. and no one knows, how the ecosystem will look like in one year.

Just stick to the reality, keep hodling and enjoy the ride.

heat was a half year ago as far as stratis, but is now years away from it. so there is not much as too hope the dev will bring the work.

it is better they focus on the release and not waste time looking over every ico and free distribution.

Thats our job to keep them informed and visa versa... get the hint Smiley

Rather than concern them with other platforms i just want them up to date with tech and so their own tech is simply the best.

Any news guys?Huh

They dont work with releasedate. If you have followed fink development, you would know, they just develop and when eunning put of money just make a new coin. Its an open end. But the later they release the token and the more development achieve some milestones, the better for us.
