Yes, we really need to work on saving the planet our mother Earth. The fact that we are experiencing these type of weather like heavy rains and super hot climate means that the Earth is suffering from our bad doings to it. If you noticed the we are having a lot of buildings replacing those trees that this Earth gave to us, for us to breath properly and enjoy the weather. All these bad human doings to the earth like burning , cutting and selling trees are harmful to our mother Earth. If we love our future we should start helping each other to build our home, this Earth that we are living in to become a better place for the next generations.

If we can save our planet why don't we just do it after all we are the ones who are living in this planet,

We are talking about how to save the planet, But who will do this? Of course I understand that every person should monitor what he does and should be more careful and not clog the environment. Instead of disposable dishes it is better to use durable. Thus, you reduce the process of pollution of nature to some extent. In addition to the dishes it is advisable to use durable towels and all that we seldom throw out.
It is necessary to save electricity, turn off electrical appliances when they are not needed.
Instead of heating appliances in your house or apartment it is better to use solar panels.

I would say we are 1,000 years away from settling in some other planet (or in the outer space). It is not easy. There are no planets with all the peculiarities of our earth. If you go to Mars, then you have to deal with a lot of issues, such as high radiation, low gravity.etc. Other exoplanets are many hundreds of light years away. Travelling to them is not practical.

I do think it's part of the process. Earth gets tired, and its not like it's always on it's youthful days on parallel side like humans. Eventually it grows, it blooms, and soon will be wittered. Thats the never ending cycle.

Wars of aggression has started to steal other countries resources and the one's behind it are financing this wars in order to capitalize with that country like for example the US government trying to take over Middle east countries to gain profit and expand their sphere of influence. We are supporting wars instead in giving it to thr one's in need.  We are destroy our ecosystem instead of finding ways for renewable resources.

The biggest culprit for global warming is the thermal power stations. But no one is interested in replacing them with the nuclear power plants. Also a lot of pollution can be stopped if the gasoline and diesel run vehicles use natural gas instead. But once again, no one is interested in this.
