Save the planet or not

We cannot solve it anymore, but will take care for the remaining things that can be distract. We need to limit or eliminate some chemicals that some factories are created that result for the more distruction of our planet earth.

We need to balance industrial growth with the conservation needs. In many instances, the third world nations are forced to ignore the negative environmental impact which can result from various industrial projects. For example, the mining of rare earth elements (REE) has created thousands of square kilometers of toxic deserted land in China.

I dont know if global warming is just to wash our heads to decrease human population which America wants to control the world.In whole Europe America was built HAARP system and now they are building in Norway biggest very big HAARP system to make earthquakes and other  crazy bad wheathers.In my country every year plants grow more slowly I think that isnt because of global warming it is 100% because of American HAARP system.

How much gradually? Do you want the burning of fossil fuels to continue for another 200 years? By then the planet will be completely destroyed and humans will not be able to survive without artificial means. We need to act, and we need to act immediately. Already too much time have been wasted. We don't have the freedom to waste any more time.

there's no let word for saving our planet. we can starts from ourself. if u think thats a government responbility, u totally wrong. this is our planet, all of us have responsibility to save it. we can start with small thing, dont throw litter, plant trees, save our river from disturb. as simple as that to save our planet.

We all know that our Earth is how many thousands of years old, to change or reverse the state of global warming requires the awareness of all the inhabitants of this earth. First starting from the smallest environment of our respective families, for example do not use all the equipment that can cause global warming for example Hair Spray, AC environmentally friendly freon, etc. In addition to starting from the family, the state leaders can issue some policies or regulations to restore the condition of our earth as it used to be.

The biggest problem is that our planet is divided in to more than 200 countries. And some of these countries (especially Saudi Arabia, China, Brazil.etc) are not that interested in conserving the planet. So even if the citizens of the other countries try to devise a plan to save the earth, the politicians from these countries will make sure that it could never be implemented.

Sentiment like yours is why there are so many skeptics towards climate change. Each time there's a large storm in the US, I see reddit posts from alarmists posting pics of  flooding from different continents. They fail to mention that the flooding from the other continents happen quite frequently during the rainy season. If you claim that the summer Arctic ice in the North Pole would completely disappear by 2013 or Mt. Kilimanjaro  would lose it’s snowpack by 2016, and they still don't happen by 2017, you lose credibility. There is no consensus among scientists of how quickly or dramatic climate change will affect the planet, so stop acting like you know.

i find it funny some of people here are into conspiracy, if you live in tropical countries specially in the south pacific you will feel that there is a huge difference in temperature now a days compared from years back. We should really save our planet before it goes too late.

If Earth were to take on humans in a seven-game series, Earth would win in a landslide...or perhaps with a landslide. Just look at the human health devastation that the tsunami wrought on Japan, arguably one of the two most technologically advanced countries in the world. Humans are just not that powerful. Any time puny humans think they are stronger than the planet, the planet sends a reminder such as a hurricane, an earthquake or a snowstorm. Therein lies the issue. By restricting activities that may change the environment, humans are being neither charitable or nice but instead selfish and saving their behinds and other body parts.

I agree with you.  It should start to ourselves and contribute to change.  Small discipline and the desire to change you do things before can contribute.  I also into the replanting of trees.  Trees showed a great influence to restore and make our world a better place to live again.
