Individuals must do it, no one else will. Companies and industrialists are here for money, they dont care about our nature or planet. Even governments and politicians are just do drama in front of people that they do care but in practical they just support businessmen.

What efforts do you want to unite to save the planet? The fact is that for today the Planet is already very badly damaged and even the cardinal measures will not give such a quick result in order to turn what is happening into a spyat.

It's more of a question of making life on earth non-hostile to humans. The planet can't really be damaged and it won't give a damn about what we do. If we're not careful we'll end up wiping ourselves out, but life will continue with or without us regardless for as long as the planet doesn't go supernova.

what about the cost of re-teaching everyone how to spell things under the new system? Not to mention the cost of retro-actively converting all "current system" text to the new system of spelling? Then there's the issue of implementing a similar system of simplified spelling in other languages?

I think the world is doing fine right now with our current language, I think trying to make it easier though a noble idea, isn't at all worth it.

The problem is that saving the planet requires a united effort by everyone of us. Even if 99% of the world population agrees with the plan and the remaining 1% opposes, it is not going to work. And that is what happening right now.

Yes. We humans should be responsible in taking good care of the earth because it is our home. This is where we learned and grow so that we should always protect our land to give us a healthy living. All we need to do to protect it is to avoid the things that make our earth destroyed.

Maybe in 10 individuals, only 3 or 2 will have the guts to preserve it. That's how ignorant people are today. Human population is directly proportional to pollution, so if the population rises don't be surprised if your surrounding is not safe to live anymore.

Science brought the Industrial Revolution, which in my opinion brought, climate change, thus it is science that will certainly save the planet.

That is a wrong statement. The planet is dying just because of human actions. And we still have the power to save the planet from total extinction. But the problem is that each and everyone of us must try to make it happen. If only a few are attempting to revive the planet, then it is not going to happen.

I think we are all obliged to save our planet, it is not easy to do it, maybe we should change our mindset to better appreciate the planet where we live.
We keep the environment around our house first, we make it a habit to always maintain cleanliness and not damage the nature around us.
The government of course also have a certain program to save our planet, therefore we also must support what the government do. We and the government must protect the environment and save the planet.

Unequivocally, we will not save the planet with our conversations. To save at least what we have today, it is very necessary to spend a lot of effort and also financial investments. But we must also understand that there is no one to do this. People alone can not do anything, just like small environmental organizations.

I want to but other people will not. Just remember how huge mining companies are there to destroy landscapes? How many illegal logging activities happens every year? How many factories emits too much pollution on the air? I do care about our own planet but I think most people care more about the money than his/her own planet.
