Top sell order on coinexchange DOGE/PEEP has an effective BTC rate of about 0.0152 satoshis (that's one sixty-fifth of a satoshi)
how did you get that info, i swear that it only has a visible division rate down to a satoshi It's a DOGE market, I just converted the DOGE rate to BTC (a verrryyy small amount of BTC) for better comparison. To add further perspective: 0.00000001 - 1 satoshi 0.000000000144 - current effective immediate buy price on coinexchange.io (it's gone lower) i see what you are saying, lol

He said he don't want to read negative posts here so that's why he told us to send him an email. Just for a moral support. Hehehe

Private one-to-one communication means he can continue to groom those people with undying loyalty, without those pesky "trolls" pointing out that he's scamming them. He did say he's "starting from scratch" (with another coin?) so it would be handy to have a fanbase of loyal suckers ready to go.

I have not been following this thread but when last i checked peepcoin won the cex voting list, why was it not listed ?
Potential red flags: - Impossible promises, like 1 PEEP = 1 USD. Some people do seem to genuinely believe that they were about to get coins to the value of half a million dollars, entirely for free. This is a fantastic claim which would require the dev to secure billions of real dollars in investment. - Premine amount increased significantly without notice. Actual premine is about 39 billion PEEP. This is massive, considering the network will only mint an absolute maximum of 500 million PEEP in the PoW phase (for some reason OP says PoW is 5.6 billion, which is out by a factor of more than 10. Possibly a deliberate lie to hide how massive the premine is.) - Only 19 sets of the free 555555 PEEP sent out. Very few people were sent their promised free coins, before the dev threw a tantrum and stopped posting. - Dev retains tens of billions of PEEP which means he's able to dump them at will. He's already sent at least a couple of billion - more than anyone else could ever mine - to the two exchanges which have listed this coin.

I've been looking at the source code of peepcoin, and also blackcoin (which peepcoin appears to be a clone of) and I think I've found a couple of silly mistakes by the dev, which could potentially save this coin... blackcoin hard forked at block 38424 with a bug fix for a negative difficulty retarget (see http://web.archive.org/web/20140325000902/http://www.blackcoin.co/wallet-2/official-statement-regarding-blockchain-problems-23rd-of-march/ ). peepcoin has the same exact same hard fork conditional code, but with the number changed to 50000. I think what has happened is that the dev thought that block 38424 was blackcoin's PoW limit, and changed it accordingly, when it was actually just the point where the difficulty retargeting algorithm was changed. If I'm correct, this means that PoW will continue indefinitely - it will NOT go to PoS only after block 50000. The dev has also set MAX_MONEY to 56000000000 (5.6 billion PEEP) but again seems to have made a mistake by assuming that this is some sort of maximum minting limit. My understanding, from reading the source, is this is NOT a hard limit on how much the network generates, it is more a sanity check to ensure you don't try to do something silly like send 1 trillion PEEP in a transaction. It has nothing to do with money supply. In a nutshell (if I got it right) :
1. PoW will not stop at block 50000
2. PoW will not stop once 5.6 billion PEEP has been minted (in actual fact, 39.5 billion has already been minted, and mining still works...)So this means that the network isn't limited to minting only a few hundred million PEEP via PoW - the money supply will continue to grow indefinitely. Maybe there's hope after all?

I'm still wondering whether the dev's original motives were altruistic, and he turned greedy, or he planned the entire thing as a get-rich-quick con from the very start.
I'm leaning more towards the latter because, apart from the more recent tantrums, he seems to be quite good at fantastic promises, stalling with vague "everything is under control" replies, and deliberately ignoring questions where a halfway honest reply would incriminate him.
It was a con from the start. Anyone who thinks they can fixed the value of a coin @ $1 or more are scammers. However it was fun watching this, espcially when the dev gets angry that one's scam didn't work out, bleating about the cost of doing this scam and not getting what one's expect back.

Its good to know that there are still people pursuing for this coin after all the dev has done. Unfortunately I am not one of those 19 lucky peeps who got their coins. Even for some Doge just for the effort of participating in the community of this thread. Anyway, good luck to those who are continuing to give hope to those holders here.

For 113 DOGE you can get the 555,555 coins that were promised. Hardly seems worth it!!

For 113 DOGE you can get the 555,555 coins that were promised. Hardly seems worth it!! Now, you can acquire your 555555 PEEP for the new low price of only 100 DOGE! And if you want to sell them, you'll only get 28. From a promised value of $USD 555555.00 to an actual value of less than $USD 0.01.... so many ruined lives and shattered dreams.
