Hi. My name is Tom.

I've not exactly had the best start so far although technically I have made a profit off my initial investment. I bought 1.7BTC for £144.50 (I'm British) and sold them today for a £10 profit. However I can't buy back in as the price has gone back up too quick! I didn't realise that it fluctuates this much so quickly!

I've put a bid in for a couple at £77 each but I don't think it will go down that far again I just really hope it does so I can get my Bitcoins back! After I do feel free for the price to rise again BTC gods!

I'm a true Newbie however (i've only really put 3 days into this) but I really like how Bitcoins work and want to be a part of them for as long as I can.

Yes, I know I'm quoting myself but I'm back in Bitcoin land, just bought 1.85BTC for less than I sold my 1.7! I know it's not much... but it's a start! Grin

Hi there.

I'm Chris.

I'm new to the fabulous world of bitcoin (how in hell could I miss this?). Saw a TV report about it and figured it was worth a look.

Signed up a little bit ago, and just realized about the newbie restrictions. >< lol

Anyways. I'm sort of new to BTC. I started mining it a few years ago. Don't remember why I stopped, and sadly lost my wallet to the void of old thrown out/formatted hard drives. Sad  Started back up about 4 months ago, and am loving it again, even with the recent hecticness of it. Tongue

I am suggesting that the newbie Forum be located MUCH higher on the Forum Index page. How do you expect a Newbie to find these rules here, buried under item 14 or so? They are a newbie, remember?

And they didn't come here to be a newbie, but to contribute in a discussion.

It took me 8 months to find this sub forum, and in the meantime I learned a lot on how forums work (From another forum, mind you). Couldn't even post a simplest post here in the meantime.

I can only imagine how much frustration this is causing others.

No doubt that (see Quote of kokjo) that the intentions  of the forum elders are good, but the execution sucks.

Just another example of "road to hell paved with good intentions".

No need to piss newbies off if you just put the Newbie Forum MUCH HIGHER (place 1 or 2) on the Forum Index.

Thanks!

please do so! and get a post Smiley
don't be so negative, the 5-post-4-hour-rule is there for a reason: to get rid of the trolls. NOT to piss newcomers off.

relax take it easy and smile. Cheesy
