heya, american guy in the uk ... i got in before the first "bubble" and cashed out at that one's peak. in retrospect, i should have rode through the bubble, eh? got in just before this "bubble" too back in feb. this time i'm not really a speculator, kinda in it to see what happens and maybe i'll get to buy some cool stuff too now that vendors are into it.

I'm interested in Bitcoin. There was apparently a great BoF session at LinuxFest Northwest 2013. Did anyone attend that?

Howdy! Like many, been around coins for a couple of years and lurked here for as long. Could've sworn I registered an account a while back, but it's lost to the sands of time. Can't wait to see what the future holds for cryptocurrencies

I'm a soft engineer come from China. I brought bitcoin since 2011 and I would hold it to 2111 if I were still alive.

Hi! I'm Gerco, I've been lurking on these forums for a year or so now and got involved in Bitcoin just before the $30 point (and subsequent crash). I trade mostly on GLBSE while I'm looking for some venture to earn bitcoins with in earnest. I believe in Bitcoin and am looking forward to the days that I can pay my rent in BTC. The US banking system is so old fashioned, expensive and slow that I find it almost impossible for something that is better in almost every way to fail

A little late to the game but I'm officially hooked! I first heard of bitcoin by my brother who narrowly missed making a gargantuan profit while waiting for funds to transfer into his mtgox account. I have been interested in it since, but didn't really pay enough attention until recently. As a developer and entrepreneur I may have BTC related projects in the future, as of now just looking forward to ASIC and since GPU mining seems on its way out (not to mention incredibly slow these days), I plan on transferring some of my physical property into BTC by selling. I've been lurking for awhile now but I feel it's past time to get some things rolling and finally signed up on the forum. Glad to be here!
