This will take many more years to come. Especially now after another bitcoin exchange security breach. The bitcoin price is just not stable enough to be a major international currency. Investors are getting spooked out of bitcoins too fast.

Bitcoin is already an International Currency. don't you know bitcoin is being used worldwideley. you can almost use bitcoin on the whole world every corner of the word where you get access to Internet you can use bitcoin you can buy sell everything.

Not for the international currency, until this time I don't or ever seeing about the international currency. If wanna say like a dollar, it's not an international currency but just the currency from the developed country is giving a big impact for the global.

Never. I've got another question for you: when will we be able to be anonymous in this world? The institutions of this world are constantly tracking our moves. It's like we are their pets and we need 'to be safe'. We can be unsafe whether they are tracking us or not. Bitcoin being anonymous, ir's now their enemy. They got to come with really bad news to bring BTC to a low popularity. Unless they will find a way to make BTC trackable, it's never gonna happen.

Yes, I agree. And that is why several international networks of illegal trafficking are taking advantage of bitcoin to carry out their transactions, and you also can easily buy and sell different goods around the world with bitcoins, provided that those stores accept it.

But not all countries view it as a currency so how can it be an international currency if it is not globally accepted?
I would still consider it an e-currency for political correctness sake.

Bitcoin is globally accepted, if someone in another country wants to sell you something and will take bitcoin for payment then that 1 transaction by itself makes it a global currency.

If you are talking about it being the currency of the globe then that is extremely unlikely to ever happen .

I think bitcoin, it has become the currency that we can use to buy something. And bitcoin was created as money in general. But if bitcoin becomes fiat I think is unlikely to happen, because there must be a country that adopts bitcoin. And thats contrary to the nature of bitcoin namely decentralization. Thank you

It is already an international currency because you can spend bitcoin in international online shop but as of now bitcoin has no physical coin to spend in different store in every country just always use an internet to go the transaction.

I don't think you'll ever see bitcoin in every shop. Bitcoin is an online cryptocurrency, do you see an online payment method, like paypal, being used to buy coffee? Not usually.

since bitcoin can be used and is being used by people all around the world then you can consider it as an international currency, also bitcoin is not controlled by any nation and does not belong to any of them too and that is another reason for considering it as an international currency already.

when all countries already regulates bitcoin,if few countries banned bitcoin it'll no matter if the rest is still consider it as legal thing,but untill now bitcoin still between legal and illegal in so many countries so it'll took couple of year maybe

if by that you mean when bitcoin is being used by every single person on the planet and replaces fiat then the answer is Never.
but bitcoin is an international currency right now in a sense that it can be used by anybody in any country without any restriction from bitcoin (the restrictions may be from the government though).

Most countries have deep emotional ties and a history with their own national fiat currencies, so I have serious doubts, that Bitcoin would replace these currencies. You might see it replaced in countries where the fiat currencies collapsed and/or people are in the process of a revolution against their governments.

This will only serve as a temporary alternative, for fiat currencies. ^hmmmm^
