It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Not this lambo shit again please.

Are you the same guys who spam every thread with lambo pictures once you think a project will grow, and who mysteriously disappear once the price does not grow a cent? Pathetic kiddos lol.

I would be happy if the price could be more than $1 on 28th, but guys, grow the fuck up and stop being this pathetic.  You are everything what is wrong with crypto world.

I think you will find that Lambo's and Rockets are part of the culture here. Bugger off

Woof woof!!

Alright, here's my experience in regards to getting an Ethereum wallet fully synched:

I initially had tried to sync ETH using an old computer with a Dual Core Pentium D processor and with 2 GB DDR2 PC 6400 RAM and even though I was using the ACARD SATA RAM Drive 24 GB for the OS (Windows 7 at the time) and 1 TB Seagate 7200 RPM hard drive for the USER profile and everything else (programs, etc) Ethereum was taking forever, it only finished syncing like in 15 to 25 days later even with the geth --fastsync (not sure if I am remembering that parameter correctly) enabled to sped up syncing process.

Then fast forward like 60+ days later and I decided to build myself a new computer with the utmost latest parts, specs being:

Intel i7 6800K Processor
32 GB of DDR4
480 GB SSD
Two Power COLOR RX 480 GPU's (Yes, I got them for ZCASH mining amongst others)
OS: Windows 10

I decided to install Ethereum from scratch here, I started the syncing process at around 2 AM EST then went to bed and then like at 4 PM I checked on the computer to see what was ethereum process, and to my surprise and amazement it was fully synced, all 14.xx GB of blocks were downloaded and processed, it finished completely in less than a day!!  and I didn't even need to run geth under any special command line argument in order to make it run faster, just a normal run, install the ethereum wallet (not mist) and then let it sit, thats it.  After a full sync I was able to import my keystore file by simply copying it over to the ..\ethereum\keystore directory and making sure it was the only keystore file in it and after logging in with my ethereum password was able to see my existing balance, then did the ICN transfers from ICO website to my wallet, setup contract address, etc and done.

So, the speed at which you will be able to do a sync from scratch does depends on how fast your computer is based on MY observations.

ok thanks for the info.. i bought a new macbook for storing my coins etc.. the first time it synced fast.. a few hours,  so i transferd my iconomi from ico to my wallet.. went fine..  now one month later i put on my macbook for the second time and wanted to sync because i want to transfer another few tokens from Kraken to my wallet but the syncing takes forever now...

going to try myetherwallet for transfering the tokens

I wouldn't call him a 'Big' fish. But I'd also question the attempt to sell. What reason does he have to sell a promising token such as ICN?

There are some big sells at above 0.002 so maybe just getting ready to sell at $1.50 to $3 in case it goes that high.

Maybe, with the platform coming up in two days time, a lot of people will attempt to take some profit form the potential bull run

I also believe there will be a bull run. Wonder in what price it may stabilize after the launch. Any guess?

The price should stabilize initially at around the neighborhood of $3, then in a few more weeks you should start seeing prices of $10 to $20 then in a few more weeks thereon you should see prices in the neighborhood of $20 to $80, then in a few more weeks thereon you should see prices around $100 to $300, etc

Here would be a long term forecast:

According to what a Psychic told me after explaining to her all about Iconomi and crypto-currencies, that to hold onto those tokens because the future holds big wealth for me.  So I am sharing this so that others can hold them too and so that others can buy more ICN's before its value starts to further appreciate because UP is the only direction this token knows about with the occasional price correction, but UP is the ultimate way!

PS:
Nothing here is a guarantee of returns or telling you you should invest, you invest at your own risk and please do not invest after reading my info, but after you do your own due diligence and feel comfortable doing do.

You know? its interesting seeing your coinmarketcap projection because there exist a few possibility where in the future your price of $202 per ICN might happen.  I would say if people start treating the ICN token as a speculative asset then yes, if the price rises to lets say $40 there will always be people that would say:
"Hey, if the price just went up to $40.00 then it should have no trouble going to, say $50, let me buy $10,000 ICN's at $40 and then sell them at $50" to give you an example, and then of course, once the price does materialize itself to $50.00, the very same trader might have a few second though and say:
"Hey I know that I had planned to sell all these 20,000 ICN's that I purchased at $40 each at $50, but now seeing that the price is at $50 MAYBE it could go to $60, let me sell approx $5,000 ICN now and leave the 15,000 remainder for later", so he takes profit but doesn't sell all in speculation that the price might be higher in the future and with all that there will always be new investors and new traders that will be just investing when they see the price at any point.  The price could be at $100 and there will always be people buying more for the sake of that if the token went up to $100 then why should it stop there.  At that point I would see them entering with a really good entry and exit strategy.

When and If the price ever reaches $100 or even higher per ICN, I speculate that people will no longer be investing in ICN for the dividends benefits but for speculative purposes as explained on my previous paragraph and purely for that purposes only.  Lets first analyze what could the dividend of 1 ICN be:
Lets say there were $1,000,000 collected in fees for the month, therefore $1,000,000 in fees / 100,000,000 ICN equals to a dividend of a penny, $0.01 per ICN, if you have over 50,000 ICN's like me, then your monthly dividend would be $500.00 but that's paid weekly to every week you would get $125.00

Now that we have establish a good dividend entry point based on a conservative speculation on my part on what I think Iconomi might make over fees in a month (there are other profit sources that will also be added into the dividend pool that I didn't consider that makes the weekly dividend higher or much higher than my conservative figures).

Now that we have a dividend example of $0.01 (one penny) per ICN, if each ICN were to be valued at say $202 each, I would not see an investor saying "Hey, let me buy some ICN's at $202 each so that I can earn a weekly penny on dividends", but I do see: "Hey, let me buy some ICN's at $202 each because if it went to this point then it should go higher and once it reaches that point I shall sell". <--- now THAT I do see happening on a $202 valuation which will then keep a buying cycle going more investors and more investors buying in for this precise reason will keep surely the price further rising, the price can go to even like $404 (a $36 billion market cap) with people just buying speculating a much higher price later.  And yes, all with the occasional pump and the occasional depressing inducing crashes of the market and the its recovery, rinse and repeat and then reaching new All Time High's beating the previous pump record.

Another ICN use cases where it can contribute to a price valuation of $202: people treading ICN's as a store of cash value with zero deflation.  There will always be 100,000,000 ICN's not one more not one less operating utilizing Ethereum's block chain.  I can even see people accepting ICN's in their web stores, imagine TigerDirect and NewEgg declaring "from now on, we accept ICN tokens as payment method" and implementing or utilizing a to be provided API to facilitate the payment, blockchain checkout, calls to server to indicate payment is done" automatically just like what they do currently with Bitcoin.  So, the ICN token could be seen as a future cash vault.

So there you go, a few reasons I touched to justify the possibility of such, what can now be described a ridiculous price, a future possibility outside of dividends being a purchase motivator, but IF and IF the weekly dividends are good enough, say $0.10 per ICH, $1 per ICN, or even $10 per ICN or whatever then dividends could continue being a purchasing motivator for up to a much higher price valuation, before something else has to be the purchasing motivators like the examples that I mentioned here.

Well, good luck all with their investment, I hope the price keeps on rising and rising!

To everyone's success!

I am also quite confident that ICN will hit $100 in next 2 years.
Those who are selling at low today, will repent their decision tomorrow and I do not want to be one of them Wink
Lets see what happens on 28.Keeping my fingers crossed

No it is not happening anyway.

$100 price means market cap of $10 billions which is very near to Bitcoin market cap (14 billion dollar) and Bitcoin market cap may even drop to $10 billion soon.

You have to accept that Iconomi is not as famous as Bitcoin and most probably , it won't be in its life.

We can all predict what we want. This are just hopes not predictions.
If someone with a little amount of ICN can drop the price by more then 10% there cant be an accurate prediction done.

Maybe this maybe that.

We should just wait be patient and see what happens.

What if this what if that.

I just hope the platform will catch on and will be recognized as a good investment tool by some fund managers of the 'old' economy.

At the moment we can be happy we all see a bit of a rise in the price.
