Days later, we have received several suggestions and very constructive feedback from the alpha community. Faced with dilemma whether to launch a product that could be even better in a few weeks’ time, we have decided to implement their comments and suggestions before progressing to the beta phase. Our users deserve the best experience out of the box, from the first login.
That is why we are postponing the launch of the beta version and public release until early 2017. This was not an easy decision, but we firmly believe it is the right one.

So my speculation was correct.. testers found bugs in products and some suggested improvements..  

I'd do same, postpone fuck out of it and do solid shit. Fuck tipical "capitalistic" views such as "we need MVP - Minimum Viable Product and GET MONEY then we fix bugs later hahahahah".

In my case ( and I repeat! ) I have no problem with this delay!!! I have problem with information about delay  which has been disclosed before of official announcement. Some people knew  about of delay from two days ago.  Who sold out 360k ICN could buy back 460k-480k ICN..

This. I could say that there is no insie trade bcoz me and other people i know also started selling three days before launch. Its very nomal and "always" happen in every crypto when people sell oh news.

This dump is just jackpot of bitcoin pump+delayed.

Common man !! If you know the release date  and price can go up ( 100% ) why you should to dump your stake ? Always I supposed that crypto people have some level of  intelligence !! I was wrong !

I agree that the 360k seller probably knew about the delay before the rest of market.

Crypto is one of the most free markets there is, so how would you prevent such trades from happening?

Trying to regulate a market so that it is "fair for all of us" would actually be a socialist market.

A free market like crypto is one in which prices are determined by unrestricted competition.

In this cause the BTC price  will crash, but you have an advantage ( you have the information)

I much prefer the unrestricted competition case.  One market participant wins the competition by exercising the competitive advantage he gets by receiving information first.

If this participant worked to get himself into a position where he receives information first, but then some centralized party blocks him from using that advantage and he loses, wouldn't that be unfair?

It was public information that we were supposed to receive invites to test the platform by Saturday.  The guy didn't start dumping the 360k until it was Sunday and it was obvious there would be a delay because no one had received invites yet.

Yep, I had the same thoughts as he had yesterday evening, but wasn't 100% sure about it. I learned something new and next time I'll be well aware of it. 20% More ICN will be a lot of money in the future.

What  "official news" do you want? LOL !! look at the market. Some "people" dumped  several hundred thousand of ICN before the ICNX release date ) (which supposed to be 28 Dec)
Now use  your common sense! If you know  the release date ( which means "price growing" ) no one will sell such a huge amount .. Those people  knew  about  the postpone, they got the information from inside! Unfortunately those actions are unfair for all of us,  ICN investors.
 I don't like those kind of actions ( it reminds me of blog posting, when friends of Iconomi team  got the maximum stake even if those articles were much worse than others )

Look I agree that it looks like inside trading. But as we see PR is not doing well. So my suggestion would be: Iconomi should look who released those intel and penalize it and then establish good way of communicating with society. The way it was handled this time is obviously wrong so they should learn from it and listen to our suggestions.

The first dump occurred on BTC drop ( you should check the orders history on Kraken) There was no correlation between BTC pump and ICN dump

The only correlation between BTC and ICN was 1-2 weeks ago, when BTC starded to growing, ICN was 0.000415 BTC than slowly ICN prices decreased. There was no big sell orders ( only 10k 30k ICN )

Two person started to move large amounts of ICN from their eth address, two days ago ...

Those amounts were dumped on Kraken. They knew about the delay, before us.

Of course  most of you, ignore those facts because  you are afraid  of big dump which may occur. That's ok (preservation instinct )

After announcement of delay, there was no big sell orders
