Yes, this is the first time I've seen this concept.
I've seen some ico which paid bounties in btc only, SDI there was no need for conversion. (Can't remember names.)
Probably, iconomi wasn't aware of so many bounty hunters wanting btc before launch.

If you want to make a purchase of more than 20 btc , then you can contact Iconomi, and you can buy ICNs. There is no option for buying smaller amounts on iconomi.
But, if you could gather a group collectively wanting more than 20 btc, Jani could process your buying request too.
By the way, not many ICNs would be for sale. And also there are many investors who have already contacted iconomi

I have some good news for ICN and some bad news for us. We already gathered the 20 btc. I had someone send me a PM offering 10 btc.

In the meantime, I received a message from the Support team. Here's what they say:

I'm afraid we have already filled the buyers' side. There was more demand for the actual purchasing of the ICN than there was ICN supply possibilities. You will be able to purchase ICN tokens on the exchanges later on.

The price given ICONOMI may not correspond to the performance that has been distributed by the public by trying to suck them, so everyone has the right to determine the right price for him selling ..

You guys don't know each other, how and who will manage that?

Probably, you should find an escrow for that purpose.

i dont see any problem. one person can contact him via email and put our all emails into cc.
escrow dont needed because everyone of us can send the btc directly to jani.

I thought that Jani want a single payment for the whole group. If he accepts different transactions for a 20 btc group, there is no problem.
You could probably confirm this thing from him only.

Second thing, I was considering is that, some of guys have agreed to bay some btc. What of they later don't contribute the btc.

 Make the group fastly before the launch. You can also contact some people who use telegram.
