This is my first ICO and first steps on the ethereum blockcain.
Sorry for my maybe stupid question, but...
Iconomi sais the laungh date would be 18 oktober but I havent received any tokens in my ethereum wallet (android).
Is there a delay or should I be worried?

No Android wallet supports ICN tokens according to my knowledge. If you don't see ICN token there you were doing something wrong!

People, don't trust 100% in people offering Android wallets of ICN. Beware of scams!

I see my test tokens but what does the amount mean ?

The numbers dont make any sense and are totally different to my ICO account numbers.

If your ICO account has 1900,231943242 ICN for example you will get 1,231943242 t-ICN for the test.

Something is very wrong with the test-icn, the numbers aren't right for me.

yes, well it was a test.. my balance is also incorrect, as others are... if i understand the format correctly...

So finally there is no account swap possible as replied from Jani.people can ask refund who sent BTC to escrow,must provide tx hash.

Is it secure? Anyone can send any tx to the escrow. Person need PROVE the ownership of the sending address.

Move ICONOMI to Lisk, why not?

As much as I would LOVE that, lisk simply isn't ready. We could "make it happen", but it would violate our roadmap. Lisk is meeting with Iconomi actually right now sharing DDoS setups... who knows, could change.

True. Also Iconomi, what if ultimately Ethereum fails. What is the backup scenario?

Counterparty is stable and an excellent option.

WAVES i think would be much better. This time let get this fix for the release is very much awaited by tons of us excited to see ICN on the exchange and what it can offer in the future. We'd like to see it live.

Waves?  No!  If that were to happen I would dump 100% at launch.  Many others would do the same.



We have yet to get an update guys...  the test contract may have deployed without issue; we just need wait for an official update.
ANYTHING ELSE IS PURE SPECULATION or FUD at this point.

Why Waves isn't good?
Can Lisk be better than Counterparty?

We still need to give ether network a chance.
Regarding other platforms - my main concerns are:
1. Iconomi would be the first major project deployment. Not good idea when it comes down to managed funds platform.
2. Liquidity. If you look at the trading volume of all other alternatives, it can be a major problem for high volume weekly transactions.

Bitcoin would be the best option, but it is expensive.
So it looks like we stay with ether for now.

Bitcoin?   I've never hear about Bitcoin as platform for DAPPs/custom asset tokens.

Trying to see my test tokens using the "Send Tokens" options over MEW only to see "Invalid Symbol", has anyone been able to check their test tokens in MEW?

EDIT: No worries, I found a way to see that it worked, in the token data: https://etherscan.io/token/0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 there's a "Filter By Address" option, I just wrote down my public ETH address et voilá, my ICN test token with the decimals is there.

They is no such feature bro.
If you are realy in such need you will need contact with support and they maybe will do it manually,
but stuff like that are very often scams so good luck.

It is clearly stated on the last update of ICONOMi devs in the previous page if you have some time to back read. That is the legit contract address of ICN in ether. See it for yourself mate.

test-it ICN contract is deployed and values assigned at 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6

In Ethereum wallet go under: Contracts -> Watch Contract. Enter 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 as TOKEN CONTRACT ADDRESS and the rest will happen automatically. Just click OK when fields fill up.


It will most likely be unlocked Thu 9am CET. after that you can make transactions etc.


That means you should see values in it But you won't be able to transfer ICNs.

well I tried ... and have 0 balance.
1. I downloaded myetherwallet,
2. created new wallet address,
3. put address at ico.iconomi.net page,
4. confirmed it,
5. then in wallet I clicked send tokens -> custom tokens -> put 0x384e762dAd922B22a0d06f4D1229582473D2DEe6 as address -> 18 decimals -> clicked save
.... -> 0 balance

what did I do wrong?

EDIT: nevermind, I found out that my wallet address should be written on ICO page before distribution...
