This first investment came after months of evaluating potential ICOs and talking to almost 20 different teams. During this process we arrived at two conclusions that were worthy of serious consideration. First, we encountered several teams with great ideas and great technical skills, but which were lacking in areas such as financial modelling and business planning. Second, there are no real established standards for the due diligence review/assessment of ICOs.
Also, invested 5,000 ETH, which is around 50k$. Not much from 10mil$ ICONOMI has.

Yeah: - They don't list in Poloniex: questionable move - They launch ICNP and invest in a good ICO: questionable move - They breathe: yep... no doubt... questionable move I don't know how you come to this conclusion, all I said was that I'm not confident in the Golem investment. Maybe because we have like 700 pages questioning/fudding EVERY move the team makes? Also using bold characters and a really short phrase without any further details on your opinion doesn't help... well, you bolded it, not me. so what are you trying to imply here ? I'm an investor and absolutely free to criticize bad investments in my opinion. so kindly fuck off. Well, as I have quite a bit more class than you I won't comment about your "kind words" Maybe next time that you make your opinion public in a forum be ready to have a better argument than a "because I say so" when someone disagrees with you... Have a nice day

Guess that's something for Tuesday's AMA
Daniel's evaluation should give you some insight into the reasoning: https://keepingstock.net/the-crowdsale-analyst-golem-final-thoughts-eaf65d80d472#.32ri7vu2s(also - I'm Jan, the other person mentioned in the blog post - hi everybody!)

I can't believe how things change fast in crypto, this time last week, we have FUDsters and CryBabies all over the place, this week I see renewed hope in ICONOMI.
Both weeks you saw me HODL.

Still some million available for investments so 50k$/some millions = small number of funds invested

How do you expect to be in agreement with all the decisions the fund makes? Obviously you will disagree with some, and agree with others. Why is that surprising or unexpected?

How do you expect to be in agreement with all the decisions the fund makes? Obviously you will disagree with some, and agree with others. Why is that surprising or unexpected? Yes, it is like a verdict. As long as you have two options (buy/don't buy; guilty/not guilty), one side won't be happy.
