Question while waiting:

Why does ripple gives away free XRPs on the Bitcoin Forum and not on their own Ripple Forum (https://ripple.com/forum/)?

And if they give them away anyway, why not give them when you create a new Ripple account?

Seems fair to me. I participate in other forums that are more restrictive.

wont the requirements to post 5 posts to be established just generate a flood of generic comments/posts? (that's my first post)

While for established users this is no problem, when you're a newbie logging in to this forum because you need to ask someone a question, this is quite a hassle Sad Oh well.

not a bad idea with the newbee area, but if a newbee have a question about a specific problem it is a little goofy that you only can write in this area because i think the more experienced user don´t read threads in this area.

Well I hope I find some good information here since I have had to go through all this Tongue It's not too bad really, though the 3.5 hour wait now that I have my 5 posts is going to be annoying.

its not just being logged in, its being active aswell, so just reading through a post can take quite some time while you are not active clicking pages. takes much longer then just 4 hours off being logged in !

thats a shame cause i would have liked to make a post as a suggestion to some problem in a thread outside newbie section.

o well, never mind.

edit: it seems activity is needed about every 4 minutes  Grin
