In my country people are so dum tht they see bitcoin as a ghost. Well inm ountryilltracy rate is low but thans to our government that the kids who don't evn know how to write their names get passed in exams huh
I never seen someone no negative about his own country. If people are not into bitcoins whats the reason behind it ? Illiteracy ? I don't think bitcoiners need to be well educated because bitcoins are easy to use even though sometimes it takes good IQ to understand how bitcoins works and things like confirmations and all. The main issue is that they have not heard about bitcoins so we cannot expect them to start using bitcoins unless they are guided in a proper way showing the benefits of bitcoins. It's slightly different in my area. They have heard of bitcoin or read it somewhere on the internet but aren't really interested in engaging in any bitcoin-related transactions, nor even simply knowing about it. I talked to a few people about why they don't want to and the most common reason is that "why should I? I'm already contented with what I'm using" which actually makes sense. But if they could just open themselves to bitcoin, they may change their mind.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Exactly, if they are made aware about the benefits associated with bitcoins then I am sure they will start using bitcoins but its really difficult to convince them to get into bitcoins.

There are few thousands users overall if I think positively and include those who mildly know about it, The moment when I was surprised when I opened FB and found a local BTC group and found 1,000 members. I though I was the only bird in the flock before .

Everyone know that US is most country accepted bitcoin in major area and companies and the number of company accepted bitcoin are growing daily
But that not much article or post clear out how is popuplar of bitcoin in your country
This topic let sharing to us about users using bitcoin in your country
- What they normaly do with bitcoin in your country ? - Do you think your country will replace US for number of bitcoin users in near future ?
In our country bitcoin is popular in online selling peer to peer, and some of the online shops accept bitcoin, but the original price of the item is too low and when you buy gadgets in that online shop is too much price. I understand if they dont want to loose their funds but it is too much. In most of the countries there are NO shops physically that accept bitcoins as a payment method while we all know there are tons of online sites that accept and appreciate bitcoins. Lets hope in coming months somehow more and more shops ( real physical shops ) accept bitcoins.

Bitcoin is becoming more popular in our country, however there are not to many places which are taking bitcoin as payment yet. That is what we need, is the companies offering goods and services on the retail market, to accept bitcoin as a payment method. This will move it further along in all countires.

Bitcoin is not really not that popular in my country to be honest, I did not even know what Bitcoin was for a very long time. That means that in some countries Bitcoin still has to make a name for it self. yes and same is the case in my country, in my country bitcoin is not still so much popular, a very few people have knowledge about bitcoin, so it is our responsibility to introduce bitcoin to people, so that they can do investment in bitcoin and make it more stronger.

Same here.People here know next to nothing about bitcoin and I have never met anyone who actually uses bitcoin besides myself.Users are few and far between and the general public only seem to have a very vague notion of it from the media.

Not that much, to be honest. Until now I haven't seen any store accepting it, unless on advertisements on the Internet. I hope that I can see more of it in more places.

Bitcoin is growing in the USA. More and more each day I read about additional people who are learning about the system and how it could help them. The more people who do transactions over seas or across the country, this coin will make it very useful for them to save time and money.

If more and more people are going to use bitcoin in USA for sure that is going to be a good help for the adoption of bitcoin in the whole world. Since people and countries are depending on what is happening in USA. So if other countries sees that USA is already using bitcoin then they are going to do the same. Just like here in my country bitcoin is somehow popular already. We hope more and more story about travel worldwide with bitcoin only

For me here in my country bitcoin now is popular because my friends and friends of their friends are using bitcoin now they say that it easy to use than banks, they can also invest , trade , or do some gambling activities without fee's or intering in some casinos and we can now also pay our monthly bill , water bills, send money anywhere from the philippines and many more futures to come ^_^
In my country Bitcoin is not that popular under the most people and I do not know what the reason for this is. I also did not know what Bitcoin was for a very long time.

I live in Singapore and I believe that Bitcoin is somewhat popular in my country.
1. There is a few Singapore based Bitcoin company - BitX (not Bit-x) and CoinHako. 2. There is a physical Bitcoin forum held during the Bitcoin 2014 bubble - shown on the Channel NewsAsia , the main local channel for news. 3. Singaporean is tech-savvy - at least from my perspective.
However , I have only seen a few physical shop accept Bitcoin in Singapore. I do hope and believe that the popularity of Bitcoin will continue to grow here.
And as for your two main questions:
- What they normaly do with bitcoin in your country ?
I believe the people in Singapore bought Bitcoin as a form of investment. Long term investment to be specific.
- Do you think your country will replace US for number of bitcoin users in near future ?
It seem impossible. Singapore is the second smallest country in Asia with only 5.399 million people (2013) compared to US 316.5 million.
Bitcoins are very popular but not in my country ok allot of peopel are trading bitcoins or are collecting them but not every store is accepting them and i dont think they would ever accept them and i dont know why not.

I do not know if it is that familiar here in our country since we have a legal bitcoin wallet here where you can also purchase btc through it and deposit it on the bank. Maybe it is on its way to be more familiar than before as everyday bitcoin users here continue to grow. I do not think that in the span of 1 to 2 years it will become a legal currency though it is like that almost but for me I guess it will take time and it will not be so soon.

In this country it is pretty popular. I'm not sure if on the internet counts though because we have countless bitcoin communities and information to be found at places. Some shops use it and some local apps use it. Besides that you don't really see it in the mainstream areas yet like the most used supermarkets etc. I think if it comes to the most used supermarkets too then it would bring alot of attention and thats good.
