Bitcoin will not be strong if the people are not patronizing the digital currencies which are the investors of different altcoins in cryptoworld. And the price value of bitcoin now is quite good though its high, meaning its obviously strong.

Hackers will always be social engineers at the first place, not magicians, and will exploit human stupidity.

Bitcoin is sensitive only on bad karma. Not on brute force!  Bitcoin as idea is ideal of freedom, and if they cannot take your

freedom, they will lie about it in worst ways.
Bitcoin is limited to the stupidity of its users. The wallets themselves are extremely hard to gain access to unless they are online wallets. If you use a software or hardware wallets, it is much harder for anyone to hack into them. Some people are naive and get easily fooled by people who try and steal their money. You just need to be smart about what you do and don't allow anyone to access your money.

Exactly, people can lose their bitcoins only in the case of leaked passwords and private keys, leakage can happen on either on client side or even on exchange side. There is no way to automatically detect password even through brute force attack. Bitcoin is stronger in such sense that it would take minimum 100+ years of continues brute force attack if your passkeys are weak so there is no chances of security breach.

Above mate described about the secure nature of bitcoin and the storage wallets. Bitcoin is getting much stronger when years were getting passed. On thing to describe its strength is that several banks and corporates planning to implement the bitcoin technology into their business. If something seems to be a failure none gives a try, here due to its success getting acceptance more and more.

If it could've been hacked down, it would have already been for years now and nobody would ever use it again. The price would fall to $0 probably because this is what sustained Bitcoin - the credibility. You never heard (except exit-scams) something bad like a hack happening to Bitcoin. That's just an idea that could be implemented in our minds to stop using it, but it's false.

I think even hacker will not hack all bitcoin wallet although they can. But hack by any negative purpose is still include in cyber crime. Probably developers are create some thing to make bitcoin stronger against hacker.
bitcoin cannot be hacked .only wallets with weak passwords can be hacked.save your coins in an offline computer to avoid that and more over use a secure system while dealing with sensitive content.

I think OP was not asking to know if bitcoin was some macho, that cannot be beaten (hacked) but to know if bitcoin is essentially and fundamentally strong to withstand pressures from competitors! To that I say a big yes! Over the past 7 years, despite the obnoxious stand of the authorities, bitcoin have continued to break barriers and attract new users.

The price of bitcoin have been mostly on the increase and countless numbers of investors including banks have found it too significant to ignore. Presently, the market capitalization for bitcoin is $12,504,444,957 https://coinmarketcap.com/

Quite strong and bold, ahead of all others.

even strongest can be hack by hackers they are directly target to put a keylogger in your pc and almost all keys you are typing can be recorded.. so always use anti virus like kaspersky that has onpage keyboard and you are far in many hackers and viruses..  bruteforce is still working in weak password or even not using super pc more speed of scanning and generate words if you use super pc than a normal laptop or pc..

May you need read the previous post again before answering the question, the possible thing for a hacker is using the trojan method for affecting the victim's PC and try for stole the data was putting by the owner or recording the data and send them to the Trojan maker. And the other like keylogger but it seems to be a weak reason rather than using the trojan for stealing the data.
It does not have any relationship with the wallet provider or other anything like that.

If you are using an online wallet, you aren't safe, even using all safety mechanisms disponible, you don't have the private keys. If you want your bitcoins safe, download a hardware wallet on your dispositive, extra security for your money.
However, this is a negative aspect about bitcoins, the vulnerability of the coin to be hacked.

Its hard to say how strong it really is but the fact is that it can be very strong if it stays so stable, its all matters in the stability these days so..

We can see the strength of bitcoin this Christmas season and no doubt about it that the price of it is getting higher and higher. This means that bitcoin is now becoming stronger and a lot of people are now using it. But we may not remove the fact that when there is strength, there is weakness. Let's not just hope that bitcoin will be weaken by some other projects or by the pump and dumps of whales.

Believe me i can't understand about the price of bitcoin increased on Christmas Day?
Because it is not a business day, Christmas Day is a day of enjoyment, so why people buy the bitcoins a lot?
Also you should remember the day of Halving, when many people said that bitcoin price but bitcoin never pick up the rock.
During in this time, bitcoin has better position instead of time of halving. So i think nothing is happened on Christmas Day.

We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this

Well, bitcoin is definitely vulnerable to quantum computing.

However, quantum computing will probably not come out as a technology in the short run, leaving the bitcoin community plenty of time deciding which algorithm they would like to switch to, to counter quantum computing.

if this can happen i know those who supporting bitcoin technology will able to find it out as well so it can be safe just in case things happen as we all enjoying the bitcoin technology so most supporters will not allow those things to interrupt the service just for my own opinion.

The community or developers may not have that time because quantum computing is likely to be developed in high secrecy. And when its possibilities come to broad light, it may be too late to cry. There seem to be quite a few governments that are interested and actively working toward building a quantum computer, among which the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Russia.

Well, bitcoin is definitely vulnerable to quantum computing.

However, quantum computing will probably not come out as a technology in the short run, leaving the bitcoin community plenty of time deciding which algorithm they would like to switch to, to counter quantum computing.

Today, bitcoin stable and not worth while to think about the bad of his future. His strength will come to the level of production the number of bitcoin.
